Very Sweet MovieThe two people who hated this movie either only watched the trailer and made an assumption or they just need to stick to storylines that are a little simpler for them to understand. No one was trying to suggest that Hitler was a “funny guy”. This is a movie about the world seen through the eyes of a ten year old boy, and how he is able to process some very serious indoctrination and somehow manage to maintain his innocence and eventually break free. Each of the protagonists had their moment to shine, and made you genuinely feel for them. The fake reviewers here need to actually watch the movie before offering an opinion or grow up so their feelings don’t get hurt. SMH..Score: 5/5

DEFINITELY recommend for the passionateSuper sweet, sad, thoughtful, funny, wild, and inspirational. Would definitely recommend! It shows and POV of an normal boy in the life of ww2 but goes deep into the love for country, sacrifice and pain that no one will forget. I guess I recommend to anyone. A must watchI loved this film! The one mistake I made was renting and not purchasing JoJo Rabbit. The humour in the horror made each scene so powerful. It’s a bad time to be a NaziIt’s always a bad time to be a Nazi. If anyone ever tells you they think it would be cool, avoid them as they require help. But this quote from Jojo’s best friend (second best friend initially) shows the change in culture and mindset near the finale of this film. But what an amazing movie. I really think it should have been the Oscar winner after watching both Parasite and Jojo Rabbit. Parasite is just that and it’s an interesting film. The itch that won’t go away, the annoyance always with you. Reminds me of some 💕👋 reviews (who wisely changed their review. Thank you for that). They are someone who has never experienced war or pain or fear the way these people lived it. As having one side of my family who fought and the other side who escaped the grasp of death in the camps, the next generation need to see this film as something not just for entertainment but for how easily it is to get caught up in a movement... then to be disillusioned by it the next. Once you realize how they have taken it all away from you and expect more, sometimes it is too late. The obvious is to look at Jojo’s parents, but take Sam Rockwell’s character for an example. All he wanted was to die in a field of glory, kept getting demoted through his career, finally had a chance as a ‘super hero’ and still blew it. Not until the end does he get to save a life. His redemption was nigh. This movie/book captures the spirit and feelings very well and the screenplay for this film was for sure deserving of an Oscar! If you haven’t read the Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom and how they hid so many Jewish people inside their walls putting themselves in harms way, that should be your next read. Jojo Rabbit is a ‘real’ story, played out over and over again by Germans who knew what was right and hid their friends, coworkers, strangers to keep them safe. Remember the past to avoid the risk of repeating it. An awesome Movie. And it’s not about ‘German Hating’ as one review sadly stated. It’s about ANYONE getting caught up in one thing and realizing that there just might be another side to things and you may not be in the right. It’s happening right now in the world so pay attention. Even the film showed how MANY Germans didn’t get caught up in the rhetoric and saw through the cloud to help those in need. And paid the highest price..Score: 5/5
