Successful actress Vera Lockman thrashes during a nightmare in which she struggles with, shoots and kills her drug-dealer ex-boyfriend. Jolted awake, she reveals in her journal that the killing actually occurred the day before and that Sal, dead, lies in a trunk in her living room.

Best scene is with Carl IcahnAlec Baldwin and Sienna Miller are both great, but the film is very slow and most of the scenes are very generic. But there is one great scene with Sienna Miller and Carl Icahn, and that alone made me glad that I watched until the end..Score: 2/5

The trailer was goodActually, the trailer was much better than the movie. I feel a little ripped off, as the trailer led me to believe I was going to watch a murder mystery. Not only did I expect more to the movie (it was only just over an hour long), I expected a murder mystery. This was just some scenes with some unrelated dialogue. Nothing at all of substance, and looking back, most of the dialogue was irrelevant. So why did I rate it five stars? Because one star would not be appropriate, and the best I could do was to use five as the number I would subtract from the lowest rating I could give. I also figured that a five star rating would ensure that you read my review, in my attempt to save you a few dollars. This trailer and description was so misleading, I feel like I should get my money back. Even the title and year of the film is misleading. It was originally called The Private Life of a Modern Woman, and was a 2017 movie. I guess they renamed it and released it as a 2020 film to mislead us into watching it. This movie was a pathetic failure. Everyone involved in its creation should be embarrassed, and should collaborate to have the movie removed from history. That was 64 minutes of my life I will never get back. Not worth the electricity charge to display it on my TV display. You will get more value watching the weather channel for 64 minutes. No, I don’t recommend this movie..Score: 5/5

An Introspective distractionAlthough this movie has some excellent talent with Senna, Alec and Charles showcased in the credits, the trailer prices together more of the movie than what is revealed for the price of your rental. In actuality the murder is but a footnote in this diatribe of introspective nonsense where the larger crime is Miller’s character’s ability to endure her friends and family which somehow manage to overshadow a murder and make the viewer forget that this movie was supposed to be a drama..Score: 1/5
