Perspective mattersIs this the greatest superhero movie ever, no. Is this the best DC movie ever, no. So why 5 stars, well because it’s uncanny how this same story was told with the same actors and much of the same footage and managed to be so different, and so awful. “Josstice League” was so bad, I mean it was unbelievable how bad it was. It’s the plight of so many stories, especially comic book adaptations. DC has done everything it could do to mess up its own brand, and this movie is proof. If DC really wanted to make great films they’d have let the Snyderverse happen..Score: 5/5

Warning! Spoiler ReviewI have never seen the original Justice League, so I had fresh eyes watching the Snyder Cut. This movie certainly has its issues. There are points at which the film feels incredibly segmented, disconnected as we move between different heroes and their introductions as characters in this universe. Ultimately, the Justice League (Extended Snyder Cut), is very good in places, but inconsistent. The segmentation into the 8 chapters make this feel like a 8-part TV series that has simply been combined into one film. I found Stepphenwolf to be stretched, trying to be relatable without any sense of his actual character. Honestly, making him a brutal, truly evil being with no deeper motivation than a serving Darkseid’s glory may be shallow, but it may have had better impact, allowing his savagery to be the herald for what Darkseid was going to bring. Instead, he seems to lacking any true conviction about his mission. While it may have made him relatable, he is not nearly tragic enough to carry out the victim narrative being told. Movie definitely suffers from telling without showing in places. There are very good points to the film. For instance, some of the lord building is good. The tone of the film is surprisingly appropriate, making it feel much more like a mythical epic, which seems to work well for DC, though it may not be for everyone. One again, Henry Cavill is a great Superman, meeting between the human vulnerability and god-like superhero. Gal Gadot is excellent as Wonder Woman. CGI is up front and center, but tastefully done in ways that does not make it hog the attention of the viewer. The finale is truly awesome, showing everyone giving it their all, everyone contributing to the victory. Would give the recommendation to watch, though.Score: 4/5

AMAZINGHas nothing to do with the theatrical Josstice league. I would love to see another one. Cyborg’s story is amazing and touching. Glad snyder could finish his movie after how WB treated him. The action is 100 times better and way more climatic. The last hour is intense and just one of the best superheroes movies shot. Not far from Avengers…Visually stunning CGI, well-developed characters’ arcs, great storytelling and I could go on and on. It’s mind boggling if DC doesn’t find a way to continue this storyline by Snyder, it is truly one of the best movies of the genre right up there with the best ones by Marvel. It’s incredible that the theatrical incomplete version was released, it was in comparison extremely weak, this is the opus that should have been released. Enjoy!.Score: 5/5

IncredibleFantastic movie, so so very different from Whedon’s Justice League. Yes its in 4:3 and the colour palette is very dark and not anything like the other rendition of Justice League. Absolutely amazing back stories especially with Cyborg and now Stepen Wolf actually feels like a real villain instead of a joke.
