Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world's oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate's long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.

DisappointingFor someone who has literally played everyone of the Uncharted games released this was a tremendous disappointment. Marky Mark was not the right cast for his role in this movie, he should have been Drake and someone much older and funnier was needed to play Victor Sullivan. Most of the movie was okay, I went to the movies to see it and found myself shifting in my seat from boredom and annoyance of the utterly ridiculous mid air jumps Tom Holland was doing 30,000 feet in the air 😒followed by more boring screen play.Rink333Score: 2/5

Uncharted CastingI’m a huge fan of the Uncharted games and I’ve played all of them more than once. When it was announced that there would be a movie I was super hyped and super disappointed as I exited the theater. The movie borrows some elements from the games ( Drake climbing up cargo falling from a plane, it’s in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception) and then it ends there. I love Mark Whalberg but he is not Sully. Tom Holland does a decent job as Nathan Drake. Honestly I remember reading that there was an R rated Uncharted script and honestly I would rather see that than this. If you haven’t played or watched any of the Uncharted games then you will probably like this film as a classic action/ adventure movie, however if you have played or watched the games then avoid this movie..Jonny U5Score: 2/5

It’s not that bad.It’s ok, mostly for kids in my opinion, what happened to the bracelet girl ? There was an important character who missed all of the action in the end, big disappointment there. I wish Banderas had more screen time. Other than that, I just felt the film was incomplete but it’s not the worst movie I’ve ever seen, I do plan on buying it on blu-ray..Terminator is the best movie.Score: 3/5

ITunes Extra doesn’t work on IOS…I buy movies with the iTunes Extras because I like the insight of the directors and such. I often prefer the Extras to the movies…I told Apple all I get is a black screen with the commentary. They said it would be fixed with an update but so far - nothing after 6 months - still doesn’t work! The movie is a 4* but Apple service 1*….JulietesolScore: 3/5

Family action adventureLooks like a few people tried to ratings bomb this with the one stars (not a one star movie by any means) and that tells me you can’t trust most ratings. Check the movie out for yourself. Now the review.... It is fun, predictable if you played the games or if you just pay attention. It’s a family friendly movie that I thought was decent and my kids who are 12 and 10 loved the movie. They really enjoyed the treasure hunt, the slapstick comedy and the over the top chase scene. The movie does what it intends to do and the acting was pretty good. Again the kids really enjoyed this one and I was smiling along with them at many points..Movie4PeopleScore: 4/5
