After 50 years of prosperous offshore drilling along the Norwegian coastline, environmental consequences begin to manifest. A massive rack has opened on the ocean floor, causing a rig to collapse. A team of researchers and rescuers rushes in to search for the missing and assess the cause of the damage, but what they discover is that this is just the start of a possible apocalyptic catastrophe the world has never seen.

Had hope going into this🙄was really hoping this would be as good as people have been saying but was so predictable all the way to to the end of the film with the most clear thriller action trops , to the point I was getting very annoyed and bored.

WhateverWeak veiled attempt at making an anti-oil industry movie. Hate to break it to everyone, but oil is going to be around for a long long time. As a geologist and petroleum engineer, this film is offensive as it is so impossible. Good movie in English sub-titlesI watched it on Hulu in original language. Honestly, I ignored most of the dialog and just watched for the action scenes. Given this it was a great movie that I enjoyed. I realized after that Hulu has an english dubbed version so watching that now to see how it compares. The voices are WAAAAY to loud and sound odd in english, but may buy the movie if I can find one with the English voice over working..Firebush14Score: 4/5

Dansk Den norske katastrofefilm 'Nordsøen' er den nervepirrende historie om en olieplatform, der udenfor Oremen Lange-feltet pludselig går ned. Midt i den katastrofale begivenhed befinder den unge iværksætter Sofia sig, som arbejder med meget avancerede undervandsrobotter. Nu gælder det liv og død på den ødelagte olieplatform, som befinder sig langt under havoverfladen - det sammen med Sofias kæreste, der nu er i overhængende livsfare. Sammen med sin kollega Arthur, må Sofia nu gøre alt for at redde sin kæreste og dem, der er gået ned med platformen. Det bliver starten på et intenst kapløb mod tiden.
