The vicious, power-mad Kano is determined to take over Earthrealm, one soul at a time. Assisted by a trio of cold Black Dragon mercenaries, he embarks on a brutal assault from town to defenseless town. The choice is simple: Kneel or be annihilated. Kenshi, a rebel warrior, calls on Kuai Liang, the only one powerful enough to challenge the malevolent Kano. But Kuai Liang has given up the ways of the warrior, and Kenshi is too undisciplined to defeat Kano himself. If Kuai Liang cannot break through the glacier of doubt that holds him back, Earthrealm will fall. The stakes are immeasurable, and the potential konsequences have never been more dire!
Hellbent on taking over Earthrealm, Kano viciously attacks town after town with the aid of three cold-blooded Black Dragon mercenaries. Those who don’t submit are annihilated but one young man won’t bend the knee to Kano: Kenshi.

Really goodThis tried to do something new with the story and characters compared to all the past movies and games and it succeeded. This is a story like Logan and Mad Max: Fury Road. The deep friendship between Sub-Zero returns from the 3D era in a new form. There’s still the ultra bloody violence and science fantasy elements but thankfully it’s more about the story and characters than anything else. This is a Mortal Kombat movie with a heart, brain, and soul, and it doesn’t rip them out at the expense of quality. Longtime fans will be rewarded and casual fans and viewers may be pleasantly surprised. This is a powerful story of redemption, humility, self-reliance and being comfortable in your own skin..Score: 5/5
Different, which isn’t a bad thingA fresh non cannon take on the Mortal Kombat franchise. Wonder what would happen if one of the fighters beat the final boss at the end of mk11. Well without giving to much away we see that here and probably much more. Hopefully in the future we see others after their victory of the final boss and what consequences that timeline holds..Score: 5/5

Why are reviews allowed before the movie comes out?It doesn’t seem logical or fair to a movie to let people leave reviews before they’ve even seen the movie. It’s allowed this movie to already have a one star rating. Sure, it’s only one review, but that’s irrelevant. Especially when the review criticizes the movie for being terrible for kids. Kids are not the intended audience, nor are the games on which this film series is based. South Park is also objectively bad for kids, but they’re not the intended audience..Score: 5/5
