Clock back into the Clerks universe for writer-director Kevin Smith’s third entry of his iconic comedy series. Once again behind the counter of Quick Stop, Dante (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal (Jeff Anderson) are still hanging out with Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith), handling quirky customers, and sneaking off for rooftop hockey. But after Randal has a heart attack, he’s determined to make something of his slacker life — by shooting a movie about it! Featuring Rosario Dawson, a host of celebrity cameos, and Smith’s signature humor, Clerks III is a hilarious and nostalgic capstone to the Clerks legacy – nearly thirty years in the making.
After narrowly surviving a massive heart attack, Randal enlists his old friend Dante to help him make a movie immortalizing their youthful days at the little convenience store that started it all.

Should've stopped with the originalThe original clerks is one of my all-time faves. i wanted to like clerks II but it was pretty bad. it tried too hard to be shocking and the script was lazy. i wanted to like this new one but it feels forced. i hate the new jesus freak character they introduced in the last one and used in this one (tho it was hysterical to see him dressed as robert smith of the band, the cure). but overall, he's awful. and i HATE how smith has absolutely ruined the silent bob character with all the mugging and overacting. it's cringe-worthy. he had the perfect deadpan character and just ruined him. unbelievable. the one redeeming thing about clerks III is how at one point, they used a lot of the old actors from the original movie, so it was kind of neat to see how they aged and all that. if you're a die hard, maybe rent it if it's cheap enough. otherwise, pass. i hate saying that but they really should've stopped with the original. these other 2 sequels stink in comparison. smith lost his mojo and magic. ALSO: in the 'extras' section, the version with the audio commentary is completely scrambled (visually). however, the 2 other 'extras' (documentary and other thing) play fine. the movie, itself, plays fine, aswell. they need to fix the commentary version, however..Score: 2/5
Great movieDefinitely his best film hands down. he worked in Degrassi the best way possible I would love to see Kevin grab some of the Degrassi characters from all of the series and make a Degrassi movie that takes place in the view askew universe as it was originally supposed to happen and take place before clerks 3 and I just really enjoyed this film it has references to marvel his life the whole universe he has created one of my favorite moments of the movie is when the owner of the quick stop pops up I couldn’t stop laughing..Score: 5/5
Great FinaleI’ve always been a fan of the View Askew movie series and now Kevin Smith returns with what is being dubbed as the final Clerks film. We’ve always laughed at these films, but now Smith does something rather different and decided to make us all cry. I never expected to feel emotions other than laughter during a film that includes all these goofy characters. I know Smith gets a ton of hate from people, but I really did enjoy this movie and I know fans of the Clerks universe will too. It’s definitely not as good as the original film, but it is better than the sequel that followed it. No idea what’s next in store for these characters but I’m sure we’ll be seeing Jay and Silent Bob again later on..Score: 4/5

KS delivered!I am a super-fan. This one is for us. Clerks III wrapped it up and felt like a long inside joke, and a good hug. Funny, sweet, a bit corny, but New Jersey all the way. Soundtrack spoke to us too. Perfect way to say goodbye. If you didn’t enjoy it you take yourself way too seriously. Intelligent, funny and nostalgic is a great way to end it..Score: 5/5
Where did Kevin Smith go?I used to be a huge Kevin Smith fan. I have attended live shows of his as well. I love the first two Clerks movies. This one left me wanting my time and money back. I bought this movie before renting hoping that I would love it as much as the first two. I am throwing in the towel on watching future movies of his. Equally touching as it is funny , but it does help to have the first two movies fresh in your mind before watching this one .
