Works For MeI don’t know what it is, but this movie just works for me. It’s free of a lot of distractions that are in a lot of movies, like aggressive language, sexual tension, or cold-blooded conflict. It’s simple: a man has an objective to get a young girl to safety, even though he wouldn’t have asked his civilization to expend those resources on just himself.
They could have added more in here, like the debate of the people back at home to actually expend the resources to bring one little girl and a pilot home. But the story isn’t about all that. This is good enough for me..Isaac Was Never HereScore: 4/5

Kinda confusedAdam Driver is everything you’d expect, I don’t think he’s mailed in a performance yet. The plot is as old as time but it’s always worked. BorningThis has space and dinosaurs two things I love! I figured there was no way that I wouldn’t enjoy it.
I also usually love movies that get bad reviews.
I just found this to be horrible, so boring! I’m glad I only rented it. I was fast forwarding through a number of scenes that dragged on too long. It seems like one of those movies critics would like but normal people just find kinda lame.
