Hmm…so no one said no Mr. Aster, we can’t do that. Perhaps they should have.This film wants so badly to be on par with the titles of his idols: The Coen Brothers, Spike Jonze, Terry Gilliam, Charlie Kaufman and Todd Solondz but to our communal disappointment, it is not. There are moments you can appreciate and some even love, but as a coherent narrative film or an “adventure” film as it’s been dubbed by the marketing team, it is not complete, it’s sprawling, it’s confused and after the first hour, you will wonder why you signed on for this and more importantly, why Joaquin did. Wait for streaming and watch it in three more digestible doses, if you must watch it at all. Watch Barton Fink and Happiness, back to back, to more successfully achieve Ari’s intended effect for the day in the life of our poor Beau..Score: 3/5
Ari Aster is 3 for 3…Another brilliant film from one of contemporary cinema’s brightest lights. Some of the biggest laughs of the year and ALSO one of the deepest films I’ve seen in a long time. Just mindblowing and original and truly a work of art…And Joaquin Phoenix is amazing…Maybe the best film of 2023 so far….Score: 5/5

So Funny but also pretty anxiety inducingI love thrillers and while this movie isn't a thriller, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is so funny but also sad in parts, length is long but well suited. Really makes you feel like you watched somebodies entire life in the movie, and seeing through all their greatest fears..Score: 5/5
AA has done it again!Trying to keep track of your entire life until nothing more can possibly fit into your mind, that’s where you find this film. Midlife Crisis. Aster has delivered once more, despite My uncertainty going into what many claimed may be the director’s first “on-purpose” bomb of a film… This is Aster’s most intense movie thus far. I felt more for this film than his original two films released under A24, except maybe Hereditary, although nothing will match any of them, even his own projects IMO… This was My favorite of what is now, Finally the AriAster Trilogy. Cannot wait to begin rewatching this film endlessly. These horror films are generationally necessary for the genre to advance its own themes..Score: 5/5
