Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” tells the story of Gabbie (Rosario Dawson), a single mom, who discovers that the home she and her son share is haunted by irksome ghosts. Hoping to restore domestic tranquility, Gabbie recruits a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid the house of the supernatural squatters. A nonstop blend of action, adventure and comedy featuring an all-star cast that includes LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Daniel Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto, “Haunted Mansion” was written by Katie Dippold and directed by Justin Simien. The film’s producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.

A woman and her son enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.

I freakin loved itSuch good acting and what a fun ride! Went to the mall and seeing it and Regal Cinemas! & me & my friend had a ball! It is such a fun, scary, Haunted hay ride of a time! I loved the original with Eddie Murphy! And I liked that they went in a total different way with this! And it was fun seeing Jamie Lee Curtis as a floating head! But I got to say I missed Meg Tilley! Both HM movies are goodI really don’t see the point of this movie being better or worse then the 2003 version. To me having grown up and watched the Eddie Murphy movie religiously, I don’t see an issue. Both movies are very good in their own way and are very different. Though similar at times. While the main focus in 2003 is breaking a curse brought on by Ramsley’s doing, in 2023 it’s about overcoming the loss of loved ones and getting rid of a murderous-manipulative ghost. Great actingThee story line is just so so, but the actinng on Wilson, and Devito is great. I didd exxpect better movie, some places made me laugh but not many. Then I have no sensse of humor or so I am told. The mansion iss really dark place. It looked deserted as well. Some of the ghosst were entertaining. As I said the acting was good, Would I buy the movie for 25.00 NO, not worth it. If you can rent it for 5.00 and be done with it..SRGRMBScore: 4/5
