An overall great movie, and it really should not be rated R compared to the crap they put in most movies today that slide. I recomend this movie to anyone, espically someone wanting a good laugh. "Dreams are worth fighting for. Why spend your like making someone elseOh man, Tim Burton used to be a genius. He did the 1989 version of Batman....which I still praise to this day, but I think that this is his best film. This is just a great movie! I mean, it is. Each cast member does thier parts excellently. Martin Landau, who deservably got an Academy Award for his performance, got Bela Lugosi exactly right. I mean, at times I had honestly thought that was really Bela Lugosi on screen. Martin Landau (does a salute).......I SOLUTE YOU. I also solute Rick Baker (who was also responsible for An American Werewolf in London, the Werewolf TV series, and The Wolf Man remake) for his job with making Martin Landau looking like Bela Lugosi. The sets look exactly like the old Ed Wood films. The feel of this film is also like a 1950's film....they even reference a few things in this one. "Now these days, it's all giant spiders, giant grasshoppers, giant ants....who could believe such monsters. The old monsters, had a poetry to them." Also, this film is very quotable. Sure, some of the things are innacurate as far as things go such as Bela Lugosi cussing like a sailor (especially when Karloff is mentioned) and Ed Wood never met Orson Welles....but I still love those things any way. I just love this movie! I'm surprised that it's just rent instead of purchase because I would recommend you to buy it if you could...maybe after this review is posted, you might get to purchase it..Score: 5/5

Very EntertainingI found this film to be wonderful and extremly entertaining! It's witty, brilliant and does a very good job putting a smile on the viewer's face. I could not help but symphasize for Ed Wood during the entire film for his creative (or should I say pathetic) movies. I was suprised to learn that the film is entirly black & white, but as we got into it, I wouldn't have it any other way. Still, I would say this is one of the best movies of all time, ironically about the worst director of all time. Thanks Ed..Score: 5/5
