Apparently the message is that gay people come from dysfunctional families. Unattainably BeautifulThis movie was absolutely superb. The acting was top notch, as was the writing. It's a very deep movie, with many under currents that, if you're very perceptive, you can appreciate. I've noticed with other reviewers they were saying that it was mainly about homosexuality. While homosexuality was displayed in some parts of the film, it's not the underlying theme. The theme of the entire movie is putting up a front of happiness, while in actuality, the person in question is unbearably sad and depressed. Yes, some of the characters are homosexual, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's all the movie is about. There are several movies with homosexuals in prime roles of other films, but they are very rarely ever labeled as a "homo-fest," as one reviewer put it. Beautiful, depressing, stunning, confusingAfter watching the hours i couldn't help but reflect on the brilliant acting putting emphasis on Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore. Kidman's performance gave you real insight into the life and personality of Virginia Woolf.
