The Sum of All Fears Film Synopsis
When the president of Russia suddenly dies, a man whose politics are virtually unknown succeeds him. The change in political leaders sparks paranoia among American CIA officials, so CIA director Bill Cabot recruits a young analyst to supply insight and advice on the situation. Then the unthinkable happens: a nuclear bomb explodes in a U.S. city, and America is quick to blame the Russians.

Good book PC ruined movieI honestly think that if a neo Nazi got hold of a nuke he wouldn't set it off in the US. I really think he would set it off in Russia, because culturally germans hate Russians, and a neo Nazi would be even more fanatical from the outcome of WW2. Sure everyone gives credit to the allies with Dday but Germany really lost to Russia. PC in hollywood ruined this movie, because a neo Nazi is after all, the most likely person to set of a nuke in America. That idea wouldn't ever cross the mind of an Islamic nutjob. UPDATE

Smartly Written StoryThe plot is exceptional, but the movie story could be shorter. Acting was very good, except for Affleck which seemed like a lost College student. Besides not being believable. He never showed signed of intelligence or bravery; mostly whined about being a Researcher the film would have been better without his involvement. The movie has spurts and prolonged slow periods. Český V roce 1973 došlo k překvapivému útoku Egypta a Sýrie na Izrael. A právě tehdy, při jednom z hlídkových letů havarovalo izraelské vojenské letadlo, ozbrojené nuklearní bombou. Ta byla, bezmála po čtvrt století, náhodně nalezena kdesi v poušti a předána do nepravých rukou. Svět se sice změnil a „studená válka“ se stala archaickým pojmem, jenže o to častější jsou regionální konflikty a terorismus nabyl téměř hrůzné podoby. Za této situace nastupuje do CIA mladý analytik Jack Ryan, specialista na bývalý Sovětský svaz, který dostává zdánlivě rutinní úkol. Při jeho řešení ovšem narazí na stopu, signalizující, že bomba je aktivována a má být dopravena do Spojených států a její výbuch bude tím nejdůraznějším varováním „zpupné“ velmoci.

Assistito dal collega John Clark, Ryan segue varie piste, anche se i sospetti sono indirizzati verso la Russia. Mentre il reciproco scambio di accuse tra Stati Uniti e Russia prosegue e raggiunge livelli molto delicati, Ryan arriva ad individuare i veri colpevoli: si tratta di alcuni neonazisti europei, che appunto volevano ricreare il clima da guerra fredda per portare avanti un loro piano di sterminio e di dominio.

Slovenčina V roku 1973 došlo k prekvapivému útoku Egypta a Sýrie na Izrael. A práve vtedy, pri jednom z hliadkových letov havarovalo izraelské vojenské lietadlo, ozbrojené nukleárnou bombou. Tá bola, bezmála po štvrť storočia, náhodne nájdená kdesi v púšti a odovzdaná do nepravých rúk. Svet sa síce zmenil a "studená vojna" sa stala archaickým pojmom, lenže o to častejšie sú regionálne konflikty a terorizmus nadobudol takmer hrozné podoby. Počas tejto situácie nastupuje do CIA mladý analytik Jack Ryan, špecialista na bývalý Sovietsky zväz, ktorý dostáva zdanlivo rutinnú úlohu. Pri jej riešení však narazí na stopu, signalizujúcu, že bomba je aktivovaná a má byť dopravená do Spojených štátov a jej výbuch bude tým najdôraznejším varovaním veľmoci.

Devetindvajset let pozneje ga stari Arabin najde na pol pokopanega in zapuščenega na Golanu ter ga proda najemniku s povezavami z neonacističnimi potenciali. Hkrati v Rusiji prihaja do nove menjave predsednika in novi vodja, komaj znan, ne vzbuja popolnega zaupanja za CIA ... Nova in vznemirljiva pustolovščina za agenta CIA Jacka Ryana (zdaj ga igra Ben Afflecka in prej sta ga zaživela Alec Baldwin in Harrison Ford). Film je imel polemiko tako, da se je problematike terorizma lotil apokaliptično, ko je bil spomin na 11. september še svež. Še več, v romanu Toma Clancyja so bili teroristi muslimanski fanatiki, toda producenti so se v adaptaciji filma odločili, da jih bodo "zamenjali" z neonacističnimi teroristi.
