The book was good, this wasn't...The book had some really interesting battles between the high tech humans and the relentless gorilla attackers. The movie version strips away everything that was interesting about the story, and waters it down to the point that it looks like they're reproducing a comic book. I understand a lot needs to be cut in the interest of time but it's as if they cut the IQ factor to reach a broader, and presumably dumber, audience as well..DistantEdScore: 2/5

Stop the talking monkeys!Definately one of the worse movies I've seen. It's one of the few films where I wanted to walk out of the theatre, but stayed in absolute amazement of what was actually produced. I guess you could watch it for the comedic (so bad it's good) value. Amy the talking gorilla is pretty funny - in a goofy, fake, monkey suite kind of way.
