In this spoof of the Robin Hood story, Robin (Cary Elwes) returns after a long battle to discover that the good King (Patrick Stewart) has been exiled, and in his place the evil King John (Richard Lewis) rules with the help of the despicable Sheriff of Rottingham (Roger Rees). Robin assembles a new band of merry men, including the Rabbi Tuckman (Mel Brooks), to unseat the bad King, and finds he has a friend in the palace with the lovely Maid Marian (Amy Yasbeth). Unfortunately her keeper, the haggard Broomhilde (Megan Cavanaugh), has installed a chastity belt on Marian to insure her virtue.

Robin Hood comes home after fighting in the Crusades to learn that the noble King Richard is in exile and that the despotic King John now rules England, with the help of the Sheriff of Rottingham. Robin Hood assembles a band of fellow patriots to do battle with King John and the Sheriff.

Hillarious!Mel Brooks added humour into every place he could in this folklore-based farce, making it undeniably hillarious!!! It already appeals to a ton of teen and adult audiences, but if he let on the sexuality a bit, it would be a lot more popular within the pre-teen range. Deutsch Robin von Loxley wird bei den Kreuzzügen unter König Richards Fahne gefangen genommen und ins Verlies gesperrt. Mit Hilfe eines arabischen Mitgefangenen namens El Niesreiz gelingt ihm die Flucht. Beim Abschied verspricht er ihm, sich um dessen Sohn Hatschi zu kümmern, der sich zur als Austauschstudent in England aufhält. Während König Richard auf den Kreuzzügen war, hat sich dessen Bruder, der kaltherzige Prinz John selber zum Alleinherrscher über England ernannt. Mit Unterstützung des skrupellosen Sheriffs von Nuttingham unterdrückt er das arme Volk und beutet es nach Strich und Faden aus. Als Robin zu seinem Schloss zurückkehrt, erfährt von Blinzler dass seine Eltern gestorben sind. Gemeinsam mit Little John und Will stellt er sich den reichen Emporkömmlingen.

Robin prisahá šerifovi pomstu, pretože zničil jeho rodinu a obral ho o dedičné panstvo. Spriatelí sa so zbojníkmi zo Sherwoodskeho lesa a spolu škodia nielen šerifovi, ale aj zradcovskému princovi Jánovi ktorý ukradol anglický trón svojmu bratovi Richardovi. Richard Levie srdce totiž už roky bojuje v Palestíne s križiakmi a podľa najnovších správ zahynul. Robin však dokáže nemožné - nielenže šerifa zneškodní , ale napriek všetkým úkladom získa aj Marianne a konečne môže odomknúť je pás cudnosti...

Český Jeruzalém roku 1125. Z vlhké kobky maurského vězení odvážně a poněkud nezvykle prchá zasloužilý účastník křižáckého tažení Robin z Loxley. Po návratu do rodné Anglie ho ovšem čeká trpké zklamání. Tatínek je mrtvý, sourozenci mrtví, věrný pes mrtvý a oblíbená kočka zadušená posledním členem rodiny – přítulnou zlatou rybkou. Navíc hrad zabavený kvůli nezaplaceným daním. Podivný vděk za bojové zásluhy. Ovšem, co by jiného zlomilo a možná i dohnalo k sebevraždě, to Robina, už brzy Hooda, posílí. Statečně vyráží do temných hvozdů a dává dohromady svou zbojnickou partu. A to si pište, že to jsou daleko ostřejší a hlavně mnohem zábavnější chlápkové než ti, které měl ve své družině Kevin Costner. Pochopitelně je tu i mrzký rottinghamský šerif a dočasný, ale o to podlejší panovník Jan. A taky luzná Mariana, jejímž největším problémem je momentálně pás cudnosti z vysoce kvalitní oceli. Poslední dobou ji začíná být zatraceně těsný...
