One of the most moving movies ever.Being a hardcore Lennon and Beatles fan, I simply adored this documentary. Unlike other documentaries, all of the information is from John or Yoko or someone close to John's mouths. There is no outside narrator, the whole thing is narrated by John himself. This documentary provides the most accurate, detailed and unbiased insight to John's life. You will laugh and cry during this. The end will rip your heart out if you have one at all. All in all, Imagine is a very moving, informational look into a delightfuly wonderful man's life showing everything, leaving no stone unturned. If you have the slightest admiration for John Lennon or are a big fan of the Beatles, buy this film. You will not be disappointed in the very least..Score: 5/5

LovelyIt’s not the greatest documentary of Lennon, but it’s definitely worth seeing. It transitions from the making of the album “Imagine” to Lennon’s life in general, back and forward. I honestly wish it focused more on his solo years as that’s what it almost seemed to go towards. However it’s a great film to see with people speaking like Yoko Ono herself, Sean Lennon, Julian Lennon, and Cynthia Lennon. Don't buy this it is defectiveIf you buy this from iTunes they will not refund the purchase price if it is defective. This film starts and stops and starts up again all the time, and if you try to tell Apple about it, they send you an email that you should download a new version of Quicktime. This does not work either. It is clearly a fault of the downloaded data, but Apple will not be responsible for it..Score: 1/5
An Amazing PeekI remember when this movie came out 20 years ago--I went to the multiplex and they were also showing the Last Temptation of Christ. It was weird because it was almost as if that whole "Christ" misquote was following him from beyond. The movie is a wonderful peek into John Lennon's private life. Using recordings from interviews, John himself speaks of his childhood, his life as a Beatle, his solo career and his life as a husband (to both Cynthia and Yoko) and father (both to Julian and Sean). The movie portrays him in a human light. In one of my favorite scenes he's shown talking openly with a "strange guy" hanging out in his Tittenburg home in England. He could've had this guy thrown out, but he chose to treat this man with decency. John made himself vulnerable to the world which, tragically, brought his demise. John Lennon is sorely missed by many fans like myself. I am happy that we have movies like this one where we can at least have a glimpse into a truly great light of our lives..Score: 5/5
Through lennon's lensThis is an excellent documentary/film that begins early in Lennon's career taking us through to Double Fantasy just before he was assasinated, the film is mostly spoken by Lennon and the story told by Lennon himself, which gives the film more authority than others speaking "about" Lennon. It is the world through Lennons' lens and that is a fascinating view. The images and the photography are truly excellent as is the production of this film and while it does note the Beatles, it doesn't dwell there as a "major" part of Lennon's career for Lennon did so much more than this (as did the other Beatles when they moved on). It's a fair and excellent assessment of a life cut far too short that shows us how great a talent we were robbed of by Chapman. Beautiful, informative, touching, and ultimately, it does drive home just how much we've lost - sad. My only complaint: this film is not for sale and it should be. There is no reason why this should be a rental only. How very Microsoft..Score: 5/5
