This is a Drama with small tidbits of chuckleThis is a movie about an aspiring chef who doesn’t know how to leave her job at work, what happens when her world is turned upside down by a child that wasn’t expected. That’s the story in a nutshell it has some good thoughts about some people who are so career obsessed that they have no outside life. BarfPlease, give me a break. This movie stinks! Ok, I loved the original German version Mostly Martha. Subtle and superb in every way. This American version relies on literal story telling cramed down your throat and gushing music to make you feel emotion or like you actually care about these people. The story is not allowed to unfold the in the beautiful and natural way that the original does. Mostly, in this movie, the characters have absolutly no chemistry. Definitely not a comedyI'm not saying that this was a bad movie, because it was fairly sweet in the end. But it wasn't a comedy. Dealing with the death of a mother/sister? My wife cried through the majority of it because it was so touching. But don't rent it because you think you'll be laughing. Any comedy in it was very light.
