Its almost 4 stars?Its not hard to impress me in a movie. This movie was worse than expected.I liked it but maybe i expected more. I have never read the book, dont plan on it. But I wanted more gun scenes. His character i guess was played correctly but i never understood some of his reaction to things, not liking or not wanting women. You kinda get that his past effected him but dont understand why? Not enough character development. He was a great hitman very good at what he does. But i just wanted more about guns. Did i say that? :0) Pretty good stunts he did, the room in hotel was pretty cool. Watch it but dont think its Bond or that movie with bruce willis and 2 45's (unrealistic but a lot of shooting!).Score: 3/5

Videogame?? What?I am not at all familiar with the video game world, so I had no idea that this movie was based off of a video game. I personally found Hitman to be highly entertaining and thrilling to the very end. I really enjoyed the various locations the movie was filmed in. The camera shots are alot very interesting too. I guess in some instances it reflects a kind of video game shot where you follow behind the character. The actor who played the main character does a great job, I had me convinced that he was really a born and raised professional killer. He was stoical, dispassionate and in control and most comfortable in solitude. There are a few scenes where he gets conflicted and the actor genuinely portrays the characters annoyance and unfamiliarity with such emotion. Quite interesting. Of course no action movie is complete without a love story or a heroine but this particular one is different. In most action movies the hero must show love to a woman in a very physical way or take any woman he wants. In Hitman the heroine literally throws herself at the main character but he doesn't respond because it's not part of his plan and he doesn't know how to deal with her. This makes him even more believable as a professional killer because he won't allow himself that kind of weakness. However you can definitely see the unspoken feelings the characters have for each other. All in all I found the plot interesting and the characters well done for an action movie. The action sequences are thrilling and not over done at all which seems to be the standard of today. If you appreciate action movies give this one a try..Score: 4/5

So Much Action, So Little TimeI'd bought this movie two months ago because I wanted to have a legal version of this movie on my iPod (Yes, Some DVDs do come with an iPod copy - stores are battling with iTunes) and because being a fan of the game as well, I was expecting a lot from it because of the hype. However, after watching it three times, I have found it to have a ton of very well directed action.. as well as a scene which seems to have copied the lobby scene from "The Matrix", and a very short time frame. Of course people like to be entertained, but what good is entertainment if it can be compared to giving someone half the usual time to eat a five-course meal? There are three major scenes in this: Beginning, Middle, & End. There are a couple other scenes which fluidly blend with the film, but I want to be able to watch a movie, and not have to see it's ending so quickly..Score: 4/5
