After narrowly escaping the horrors of the underground Hive facility, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is quickly thrust back into a war raging above ground between the living and the Undead. As the city is locked down under quarantine, Alice joins a small band of elite soldiers, led by Valentine (Sienna Guillory, Love, Actually) and Carlos (Oded Fehr, The Mummy Returns), enlisted to rescue the missing daughter of Dr. Ashford, the creator of the mutating T-virus. Its a heart-pounding race against time as the group faces off against hordes of blood- thirsty zombies, stealthy Lickers, mutant canines and the most sinister foe yet. Written and produced by the visionary director of Resident Evil, Paul W. S. Anderson (Alien Vs. Predator) and directed by Alexander Witt, Resident Evil: Apocalypse is a superior sci-fi suspense sequel.

As the city is locked down under quarantine, Alice finds out that the people that died from the previous incident at the Umbrella Corporation have turned into zombies. She then joins a small band of elite soldiers, who are enlisted to rescue the missing daughter of the creator of the mutating T-virus. Once lack of luck and resources happen, they begin to wage an exhilarating battle to survive and escape before the Umbrella Corporation erases its experiment from the face of the earth.

Get another addition to theThis movie is one of the really good ones looking out for the rest of the series. It added characters from both in game in real life. They tried to include charaters in the video game and bring some into the live action movie. For the hardcore Res. fanWhile I enjoyed the movie, it seemed painfully slow paced, with many pointless action scenes that did nothing for the story. The use of slow motion in this movie is over-the-top, and not in a good way. The shambling masses of undead seemed rather... cliche, having much to much moaning and shuffling, not like a true T-Virus infected corpse at all, and the acting was dry and un-practiced. However, the Resident Evil trilogy never ceases to entertain, and as always, followed a rather original and interesting storyline. All in all, a well deserved 3 stars..BSorrellsScore: 3/5
