This special uncut edition of The Girl Next Door gives you even more of this wonderful romantic comedy! Eighteen-year-old Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch) is a straight-arrow over-achiever who has never really lived life…until he falls for his new neighbor, the beautiful and seemingly innocent Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). When Matthew discovers this perfect "girl next door" is a one-time porn star, his sheltered existence begins to spin out of control. Ultimately Danielle helps Matthew emerge from his shell, and discover that sometimes you have to risk everything for the person you love.

Exceptionally ambitious high schooler Matthew has aspirations for a career in politics when he falls in love with his gorgeous 19-year-old neighbor, Danielle. But Matthew's bright future is jeopardized when he finds Danielle was once a porn star. As Danielle's past catches up with her, Matthew's love for her forces him to re-evaluate his goals.

Winning Romantic ComedyLove this movie. The good guys are good... and the bad guys are bad.... and the girl next door is incredible. I think the entire cast plays it "spot-on"; but Elisha puts more range of emotion into a simple look than I have seen on screen in a long time. Subtle changes in expression that convey delight, confidence, vulnerably, joy, heartache, irritation, love, passion, and maturity. Wow! Watch as Elisha makes the words in this script come alive. Great MovieThis is one of my favorite movies because the girl is trying to start over and the guy likes her for who he knows her as. He doesn't care about her past, but likes her for who she is and how she changes him. This movie got low ratings, but is honestly pretty good if you ask me.
