Jack Black and Mos Def star in Be Kind Rewind, a unique comedy from Academy Award-winning writer/director Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). Couldn't stand this movieAs another reviewer put it people either love or hate this movie and I would definitely fall into the hate it category. The premise itself is clever but the story is terrible and the characters uninteresting. I found the movie very boring and stopped watching it after about 45 minutes. Very fresh and creativeI agree with black phantom in that it is probably a love it or hate it movie - I definitely don't think that it is for everyone. But I thought it was a really fresh, creative plot, two words that I don't think I can use with most other movies that I have seen in years. Plus, it was hilarious. The action scenes were so real too so you could really imagine this type of thing actually happening (not that the entirety of the plot was realistic but hey its a movie). Anyway, I would definitely recommend it to people who like Jack Black, and to people who are sick of the same movie plot over and over and OVER..Irontri455Score: 5/5

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIEThey tried to touch on a sense of community as some underlining message in a comedy for no apparent reason. I was hoping for an articulate and funny performance from Jack Black, but instead got this dribble. The plot was out there, and ridiculous in the least possibly funny way. The subplot was even more far fetched, and simply stupid. If you are looking for something to fall asleep to this is your movie. If you were hoping for a laugh out loud comedy don’t think twice about renting this movie, I only finished it because I felt like I had to because I had already paid for it. Great for a rent.Michel Gondry is an amazing director with brilliant ideas, which is why I've watched his music videos over and over again. I thought this would be an amazing comedy, being cast with amazing actor/comedians, but found it to be a pretty lackluster drama with funny parts. Certainly enjoyable, but not if you're in the mood for slapstick. Overall, I recommend renting for a first time viewing. I takt med att kön till butiken växer, ökar det lilla filmteamets produktionstakt drastiskt.
Nederlands Jerry woont en werkt op een autosloperij naast een transformatorstation en heeft het angstige vermoeden dat het transformatorstation zijn hersenen doet smelten. Wanneer hij het wil saboteren gaat het mis en raakt hij gemagnetiseerd.
