When high school students Molly Ringwald and Randall Batinkoff fall for each other, they wind up taking a crash course in adulthood in this contemporary romantic comedy. Molly ("The Breakfast Club,""Sixteen Candles") stars as a fledgling journalism student who can't wait to see her name in print. Randall is hoping for a scholarship to Cal Tech. On top of the world and in love, their futures seem idyllic until one little thing throws them off track - a baby. This unexpected "change of events" doesn't sit too well with their moms and dads, who just aren't ready to be grandparents. So Molly and Randall split from their families, get married and begin a life on their own with their new "bundle of job." It doesn't take long before the honeymoon is over, diapers are in, and late dates are out. But in the end, sharing kisses beats doing dishes as Molly, Randall and their families discover that the best love of all is...For Keeps.
Young high school couple Darcy Elliot and Stan Bobrucz are one year from graduation, with promising futures ahead of them. But their paths take a drastic turn when Darcy becomes pregnant. Unwilling to go through an abortion or an adoption — despite their parents' pleas — Darcy and Stan decide to sacrifice their college experiences and degrees in order to keep and raise the baby. After a quick marriage, the two realize it won't be as easy as they thought.

For SureAlthough this movie is directed by the guy that did "Rocky" it's not the action that gets me in this well-made movie (there is little of it) but the acting. There is a very sweet and tender atmosphere in this movie that lets off positive vibes as the protagonists face realistic obstacles and overcome them in believable ways (no fancy special effects). It's as funny as it is serious and altogether very entertaining! It tells a good story in a touching manner and the actors are all charming. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did..Score: 5/5

GREAT!I LUV THIS MOVIE! A few of the scenes weren't too good for kids under 14. Eccpecially the rain make out scene and the shower scene. Other than those scenes though, it was excellent! One of Molly Ringwald's best films. It had a good story. It was a really sweet movie. I loved the music too. It had a great message and a beautiful plot. Molly Ringwald's best?I thought that the preview didn't do the film justice at all, although this is unarguably Molly Ringwald's worst film. This film began what is identified as 'Ringwald's decline', and is said to have been her final 'teen movie'. However, it is my opinion that the interesting take on post partum depression in a young teenage mother was a high point in the film, and the reconciliation scene in the end between Darcy and Stan was a nice conclusion. I wouldn't urge anyone to buy this or even rent it. If you want to see Ringwald in her finest, look at her earlier works like "The Breakfast Club" or "Sixteen Candles". This particular feature is not her best, and I would suggest at least looking at some of her more popular works before seeing this one..Score: 2/5
