Any other Desert Storm movies besides this one?I saw this in the theater with a couple people around my age. We had to see it because we were kids during Desert Storm and back in the late 90’s if you wanted to get an idea of what something was like you watched a movie about it. Yes it’s a fictional movie but historical fiction so it is based on reality. I liked the part where one character’s old job comes in handy and there is one camera angle of functioning human organs that will blow you away. Overall a good movie and I got to see it for free! :).Score: 5/5

A TRUE CLASSICOriginally saw this years ago, and seen it many times since, but just noticed it under a selection of Clooney films here and it brought back a flood of memories. It fires all all cylinders and on every level. The story and pacing, the cast and their performances, and then there is that David O Russell touch of magic which back then we couldn't exactly put our finger on WHAT exactly that was, but a handful of brilliant movies like this since from him have proven exactly what that is, it's a David O Russell movie, that's why it is! If you have never seen this drop everything and do yourself a favor and watch it. Don't rent it though, buy it, you'll want it in your digital library..Score: 5/5

A must see anti war filmOne of the best anti-war films out, not only for the amazing cast but the cinematography. The director cross-processed his film stock to give it a slightly surreal appearance and it succeeds. Clooney, Wahlberg, Ice Cube and Spike Jonze are the bored soldiers going after Saddam's gold who are suddenly faced with the reality of war-and the civilians whose lives are turned upside down by Bush 1 and his oil policies. Great supporting cast as well..Score: 5/5
A precious jewel in War MoviesCaptures the moment, plot is great, characters are structured well....but I cam help but to fast forward some scenes in this movie. Some scenes seemed to last forever and you wonder, what was the point in that? But, still a great movie to enjoy. Worth Renting & Buying!.Score: 4/5
