Dont waste your time or moneyFirst things first, the twilight zone is a classic and shouldn't be made into a movie, completely taken out of proportion, and ruined by hollywood directors. Second, the preview tells you absolutely nothing about the movie except what you already know... the title. So if they cant even give you a good preview then why waste your time buying the movie? Just go buy some of the original episodes at walmart, they're like 5 dollars.Score: 1/5
One hit and three missesThe sole reason to see Twilight Zone movie is for the George Miller installment of Nightmare at 20,000 Feet which is a vast improvement over the original. John Lithgow's performance is the true stand out as the gremlin (real or imagined) becomes more and more manic. The Spielberg entry of Kick the Can is by far the worst and proves that he embodies everything that is wrong with modern cinema. It is sappy treacle that is loaded with all his "cinematic tricks". Scatman Crothers is it's one passable element. The John Landis episode was weak , pointless, and not even an actual episode. Many have tried to replicate that Rod Serling ability to use the Twilight Zone as a vehicle to explore social issues while disguising them subversively under the guise of fantasy but few have really pulled it off without appearing heavy handed (as even Serling stumbled more than a few times). The tragedy behinf that episode makes it all the more painful to watch. The Joe Dante It's A Good Life episode is the one that had potential but became annoying very fast, with the creepiest shot of a sister sitting up in her room. The sequence that bookend he movie with Dan Ackroyd and Albert Brooks is amusing. At least they got Twlight Zone alum Burgess Meredith to do the narration..Score: 3/5
Not BadA lot of people think this movie is terrible, but you have to give them credit. It could have been way worse. It would have been better with Rod Serling, but I enjoyed this move. And Odviously the effects are not perfect but over all, this is a great move..Score: 4/5
This movie put John Landis out of the film industryOnly a couple of the segments are good and most are not. But the one segment that’s the creepiest is the first one. John Landis directing Vic Morrow and 2 kids in a swamp type setting, he had a helicopter over head as Vic Morrow is trying to get these 2 kids out of the water. Unfortunately because of Landis asking the pilot of the helicopter to go lower and lower for a better shot, there was a malfunction that caused the helicopter to tip over and in the process Vic morrow was decapitated by the blades of the helicopter and the two kids were crushed to death by the helicopter crashing in the water. At the trial for the murder of the three, Landis got away Scott free and at the trial, he was laughing and going on like this tragedy never happened. But, Landis doesn’t direct movies anymore because of that incident. Otherwise, the movie has some good segments, but not all. And yes, the original tv series was amazing and incredibly written by Rod Serling. The tv show was much better..Score: 3/5

The Show is Alot BetterBasically, the movie is made of of four modernized episodes of Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone. The filmakers behind it are excellent, a huge fan of their work. But such a project was very hard to take the ingenius episodes and remake them. The first clip was a new clip not from the show which wasn't bad. The second was a remake of "Kick the Can" which was good and can be considered better because unlike the episode the movie deals with the characters regretting becoming young again, thus realizing that if one has lived a life why should one live one again. The third was a remake "It's a Good Life" which was the only true failure in this film. It just added "cartoonish" effects and did not expand on the theme or characters of the original episode. The fourth was a remake of "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet". It dealed with an normal individaul instead of one who was scared of planes and had a had a better looking man than the funny looking ape in the original. But overall the movie does not deal with the issues Serling portayed in his shows and would not scare those who watched it. Still it is a good movie. (iTunes should get The Twilight Zone seasons).Score: 4/5

IT TOLD ME NOTHING ! but i do know what it is about. it is about this elavator that breaks and these stange peps die on it. it is really cool. cuz in Disney World there is this whole ride on it where you are on that elavator. Fun Flick!Really enjoyable retelling of 3 famous stories from the 1960s series plus 2 new stories. In "Nightmare at 30,000 Feet" the gremlin seemed to have a personality and I like John Lithgow. "Kick the Can" had a better ending and the likable Scatman Crothers. "It's a Good Life" was just bonkers but I actually prefer it to the original as there was a plausible way to deal with Anthony. The mini opening story scared me as a kid!.Score: 4/5
