AwfulThis movie sucked from start to Finnish. This was the worst Halloween movie ever. I own every Halloween move with the exception of Halloween III. It's just like bad sex. Halloween 3: ReviewWhy is Halloween 3 considered to be the outcast of the series?...Well, it doesn't have Michael Myers. Yes, you read that correctly. After filming Halloween 2, the producers wanted to turn the franchise into a anthology series and for each film to have it’s own different story, starting with Halloween 3. However, because of the negative reception, Halloween 3 is the only Halloween movie to have that concept. Rumor has it that if this concept for the series continued, Halloween 4 would've been a ghost story. Halloween 3 bombed at the box office and was hated by both fans and critics, which is why every other Halloween movie since this one continued the Michael Myers storyline. This movie is about an evil toy company called Silver Shamrock that sells masks with computer chips laced on the masks with stonehedge dust on the chip. When a person wearing the mask is watching "The Big Giveaway", the Silver Shamrock masks would activate the computer chip and kill the person watching the program and wearing the mask at the same time. Complicated? Definitely! Nevertheless, this is an underrated 80s horror film checking out. It’s time for people to give Halloween 3 another watch, just ignore the fact it’s under the Halloween name and maybe you’ll enjoy it! Rating: 4 Stars.Score: 4/5

Let me explain...If you've watched the movie, you know it has NOTHING to do with the Halloween series and at first, that was pretty confusing and slightly enraging. I have to be honest though, I still watch this movie regularly. It is a good old fashioned horror flick and I've come to love it. If it wasn't called Halloween, I think people would really enjoy it! H3Ok so first of all I’m a huge Halloween fan and I’ve watched every Movie and first off all why all the hate? Well I don’t hat this film I just think people hated it because it didn’t have Michael in it. Now yes I know what you’re going to say, but before you write a nasty review about this movie let me convince you it’s a really good movie. First off it’s it’s a great movie and you should definitely watch it now I know it sticks out like a sore thumb but if ya want to enjoy it, watch it after all the films. So watch them in this order⬇️ 1:H1 2:H2 3:H4 4:H5 5:H6 or the curse of Michael Myers 6:H20 or Halloween 20 years later 7:H8 or Halloween resurrection Then after you’ve watched them in this order that I, recommend⬆️(up there) Then watch H3. And after watch The rob zombie films (If you hate your eyes, and yourself) then watch the 2018 remake. So yeah Halloween 3 is a good film but it doesn’t go together with the original series of movies so yes I do recommend this one it’s a good film, just give it a chance and don’t listen to rotten tomatoes. Rotten tomatoes even called The joker movie awful, but it won ATON of awards. So yeah give this a chance..Score: 4/5
Never saw this movie until last year- But a great stand aloneI too, derided this movie as it didn't feature Michael Myers. But like the other reviewer said- Give it a chance! I finally saw it last Halloween 2016, and ended up rewatching it 3 times during the season- There is something so intriguing and timely about this movie that it absolutely has become one of my favorites. It's fascinatingly 80's in a way no other Halloween movie ever was- from the soundtrack to the pacing... plus it's a good story about evil taking over the world which is so timely these days to the recent world events. And the Shamrock jingle.... haunting... I also love the back story to the thought process on why this movie was made- I truly am a huge fan and this movie will become part of my yearly Halloween movie marathon. You are missing out if you don't give this movie a chance and if you don't understand why, I feel sorry for you..Score: 5/5
VERY UNDERRATED MOVIEHalloween 3 gets a BAD Rep because we all associate Halloween with Michael Myers. Which I agree with. He is what the Halloween series is! This movie should have simple be called Season of the Witch and it would have such a better reputation! This movie is vastly underrated and it is a very good horror movie! Its not that badJohn Carpenter's original intention was to move on from Michael Myers and come out with a new story and new characters every Halloween, keep it a fresh series and it would allow for some really creative ideas. Michael Myers fans revolted and he reluctantly brought him back, and after Halloween 5 the series took a huge dive. This movie is very entertaining and provides a nice break, entertaining break from the Myers story. As a huge Myers fan I was happy they brought him back, however it did get pretty lean when Busta Rhymes was the star....Score: 4/5

A deserved cult classsicRemove the Halloween from its title and you have a great sci-fi horror movie all its own. Its sinister, dark, its pretty much what a Horror movie should be. The mistake of Carpenter and its Producers, was to introduce this as Halloween III. Myers is no where in this movie, with the exception of him appearing in the 'Halloween' movie trailer; an Easter egg in the movie, which there is plenty of. Its a great time at the movies, with a great music soundtrack, an over the top villian, a sadistic plot to boot. Don't take it seriously and have a grand old time!! Trick or Treat!!!!.Score: 4/5
Campy Halloween GoodnessWhen viewed as part of the series I can see why this movie would be a disappointment. Audiences are enamored with Michael Myers as one of the all time favorite scary serial killers. But when taken in the context of it's intended production, this Halloween movie offers up everything that the holiday should evoke - some decent gore and scares, all with enough camp to not take itself too seriously. It's a perfect movie for a nostalgic Halloween night of movie watching. The acting isn't top notch but I think thats sort of the point of this B-movie homage. Definitely worth a look if you want a movie with some originality and decent scares that knows it's nothing more than a campy fright night movie!.Score: 4/5
