The film follows the life of famous 1970s runner Steve Prefontaine from his youth days in Oregon to the University of Oregon where he worked with the legendary coach Bill Bowerman, later to Olympics in Munich and his early death at 24 in a car crash.

Great movieOn top of the fact that my life is running, I run 70 miles a week and my team won the Texas 5A state championship as well as placing second at Nike nationals, this film is spectacular...even if you had never been into xc or track it is a great movie and if you are a runner it is even better!!!.Score: 5/5
