Surprised!!I was surprised at how good this was. it is a formula that works with just the right amount of tweaking. The acting is nothing grand, but the ensemble cast works well together to make a believable story. And the plot was very well thought out, while the production was well executed. It's not overly mushy or emotional, but strikes at a certain truth of family life..Score: 4/5
This is MY family!For sure, this is a holiday movie, but I watch it off and on all year. This star-studded movie reminds me so much of my goofy clan...I can only imagine the reactions if me or one of my siblings brought a character such as Meredith home. Horrible Movie - DO NOT WATCHThis movie was horrendously bad - not sure how some of these actors signed up for this movie after reading the script. The plot picks up new story lines and drops off old ones like it was a habit. The plot ‘twists’ made NO sense, but were somehow supposed to be easily accepted by the audience.
