Edward Wilson, the only witness to his father's suicide and member of the Skull and Bones Society while a student at Yale, is a morally upright young man who values honor and discretion, qualities that help him to be recruited for a career in the newly founded OSS. His dedication to his work does not come without a price though, leading him to sacrifice his ideals and eventually his family.

I Absolutely Adore This Movie!The Good Shepherd is a great intellectual film. The fun of this film is not watching and expecting to be entertained, it is paying attention and piecing clues together as the story moves along. The performances by Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, and Eddie Redmayne are fantastic! This movie is so underrated. This is honestly my favorite movie which is why it kills me that so many people don’t appreciate it. Caroll Quigley was rightWatching this movie really addresses what Caroll Quigley had been saying all along that the shadow government is real, and the world is manipulated and ruled by secret societies with small groups of men in round-table groups. The world as been and always will be controlled by the real power that is hidden from public view.
This movie is long, but I can watch it over and over again since there are so many subtle scenes that depict the realities of how the world really works and not just in a fictional spy drama - which is disturbing as well.
Very good acting with the big named stars. It should be required watching for everyone, so they can make their own determination as to whether they are being lied to or not with all the disinformation that is disseminated through the media. It’s all hidden in plain sight..Soren4Score: 5/5

The Good ShepherdGreat cast and interesting story. Very poorly acted and directed. Damon is the main character and provides little dialogue and no body language to portray his thoughts. All of the other achtors give good performances. The director has the movie jumping backward and forward in time.
