Actually 3 1/2 stars.I thought this was a well made movie. It had some minor hiccups - the pace in some parts is a bit slow. There are a few times that a shot is held long after it should have been. I sat there thinking, "Ok, we get it, let's move on already." But overall, I enjoyed it. It is suspenseful, though not particularly scary. There are a few gotcha-type scares and some gore, but no serious horror-type scares. Like I said in the title, would have given it 3 1/2 stars if I could, good but not great..Score: 4/5

Surprisingly GoodThe opening scene really grabs your attention but sets up an unrealized expectation of more gore than it delivers. The suspense makes for a better horror in my opinion anyway so I was pleasantly surprised that the story was as well developed as it was. Sutherland gives a respectable performance but falls short in a couple of easily overlooked scenes. A reasonably predictable end still left me satisfied. Probably not a re-watch kind of film but highly recommended as a once watch..Score: 4/5

I was impressedI am a huge horror fan! I do not scare easily and gore is Okay with me. Mirrors drew my attention from the first scene and held me to the last. This is one of a very small few list of movies that actually did "scare" me. It was not nightmare scary it was more 'disturbing' then anything. I recomend this movie to horror fans that enjoy gore, this would not be for someone that does not like gore because THERE IS A SCENE THAT MANY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE it even "freaked" me out a bit..Score: 4/5

Mirror mirror on the wall this is definitely the worst of allThis movie was chaotic in its structure. For the first 30 minutes i had thought that there might be some suspense and tense moments. however, very quickly after my "give it the benefit of the doubt" period it exposed itself for what it was - a hopeful knock off of every horror film in the past ten years. from hollow man to lady in the water, this movie was every cliche without the attraction. i was hopeful, then bored, and then bored again. When they brought the scary child aspect into it i knew that they hit a low, fishing for emotion that just wasn't there. very good luck next time. this time it was not worth a glance..Score: 1/5

Pretty skaryGreat for horror fans! I reccomend this for anybody. You don't have to be a horror fan to like this movie. My dad has no taste in movies, and hates horror movies. we rented this one for him and I and got the younger ones coraline (which i don't reccomend). it's not a super gory or super scary movie, it's kind of a thriller/horror type of movie.it has a couple of parts that make you jump but all in all it's not that bad..Score: 4/5
Very creepyI watched this movie alone and in darkness. It has some very creepy moments in it, full of suspense, with a few jumps thrown in. I was surpised it was so good after reading previous reviews slating it. This is a well acted, scary movie full of spine tingling creepy suspense with an awesome ending.
