AmazingThis is my favorite movie of all time. Reading the other reviews, I have found that people who gave this movie three stars or less fall into three categories. Either they didn't understand the film, or were so set on it being 'awesome' that they weren't paying attention or... They just lack any semblance of a soul. When an 'artsy' movie such as this one opens in less theaters than most regular releases and doesn't have to rely on cheap Hollywood effects and yet has more reviews than all of the Harry Potter movies... It's A Winner!In a year of great films, there was one that was hard not to like, Slumdog Millionaire. With fantastic cinematography, a brilliant story, wonderful music, and superb acting by inexperienced actors of many ages, there was no denying that it was quite simply the best. Even if you're one that has no respect for the decisions of the Oscars, I'm sure you will find something positive in this movie. Danny Boyle's excellent direction makes it something like you've never seen, keeping you on the edge of your seat and, for me at least, coming back again and again. Good Thrill for westThis is a good movie. Different than usual fiction or love story or action and infact a bit unusual drama to see. This could be something very new, thrilling and unusual never seen before kind of thing for Western World but nothing like that for Asia or at least I must say for Subcontinent in particular. Story is from slum life in India, Acting good but what I did not like is that the confidence and personality of the hero which is misfit with the character of a Slum boy and rather more accustomed with an Oxford graduate. He is either mischosen or failed to convert him into the real character being played. Otherwise, some of scenes too crude to be shown on Screen which I guess is personal likes and dislikes though in my opinion such crudely filmized scenes should not be shown on air..Dost.....a friendScore: 3/5

WowI saw this movie with a large group of friends, and most of us had varying opinions. i, however, was one of the three who enjoyed the movie immensely, and even stood up to clap at the end, something I never do at movies. Mainly because it's a stupid things to do. But, the movie was touching, it was powerful, it was bitter, and it was real. It wasn't predictable either. It was twist after turn and so on. It was incredibly interesting. It was a bit graphic in places, but was real. Please, go see this movie. The cinematography and music were fabulous, and the acting seemed real.
