Fun and CleanThis is a very fun, clean, family-friendly movie. My brothers loved all the fist-fighting, and we girls loved the dancing. I fast-forwarded a few of the songs, but the others were entertaining to listen to and to watch (very good choreography). The lyrics were very amusing if you could understand them. Overall the story was a fantasy, and could and should never happen in real life; but watching the seven brothers get their wives was very enjoyable for us all. So where’s the Cinemascope?This is a true classic noted for it startling dance numbers as well as is super 70 wide screen cinematography. So why is ITunes offering a version where the sides are cut off?
Even in the trailer, we see dancers disappearing off the sides of the screen! I don’t know if this is ITunes or the studio doing these “hatchet” jobs, but I won’t be buying this until an unmolested version is offered! The ratio should be 2.20 to 1.
