A world beyond possibiltes and fake couterpartsThe Truman Show was the most creative movies i have seen in a while, not to mention that Jim Carrey's career has plummet down to the surface with a thud, The Truman Show is a movie beyond expectations, fake, imagnation and creative ideas that take the premise of the movie and turns it into a sitcom. This movie isn't trying to be hailrious with Jim Carrey's goofy personality which makes this nocturnal movie with high expectations and takes the story into another level. The film follows Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) as a child growing up, Burbank is held under his will in a popular TV show that is being aried across the globe when people are watching. Burbank dosen't seem to notice he is actually being forced into a tv show created by TV executive Christof (Ed Harris) who controlls Truman's every move and including the whole entire fake world he has created ever since Truman was born. The elements in the film are quite the creative inpulse that this movie is trying to capture what is like to be on a exciting television show but for me the premise is kinda stupid and random because why would Christof a seemingly talented creator kidnaps Truman and forces him into thinking he is in the real world expect he is in a fake televison globe that neither any human being on earth can handle. Iam not saying The Tuman Show is the worst movie ever made sure the tv stakes and city look perfect in every way, Iam saying that the premise sometimes doesen't fit with the tone of the movie and falls apart in some
momments on the course of Truman's life in a fake globe. Truman Burbank totiž až téměř do svých třiceti let netuší, že od narození žije v obrovských filmových ateliérech a že je hvězdou televizního seriálu s celosvětovou popularitou a vysokou sledovaností. Nad Trumanovým životem má navíc absolutní kontrolu tvůrce oblíbeného seriálu, režisér a producent Christof. Největším problémem ovšem pro Trumana nakonec není uvědomit si pravý stav věcí, nýbrž odhodlat se opustit falešný, avšak zároveň tak bezpečný a dokonalý svět... Snímek je inspirován americkými TV seriály, založenými na snímání reality a ve svém závěru nečekaně přerůstá až v moderní alegorii biblického motivu - vyhnání z ráje. Žánrově jde o fantaskní, bizarní a spektakulární drama se satirickým podtextem.

Sein Streben nach einer echten Welt wird immer stärker, er plant seinen Ausbruch.
