Filmed during the group's now-famous 1973 New York City concerts, this documentary mixes live performances of "Dazed and Confused," "Stairway to Heaven," "Whole Lotta Love" and other signature songs with fantasy sequences and personal backstage footage of the group. Surviving band members recently supervised the digital remastering and Dolby 5.1 remixing of the film's picture and audio, so it now looks and sounds better than ever before!

Brings back memoriesI saw this tour when it came to Indianapolis, classic Zeppelin. It certainly brings those of us who lived through the 70's back. The movie drags at parts and can be somewhat disjointed but if you came for live Zeppelin you came to the right place..Score: 4/5

Film Showcases Led Zeppelins' amazing talentThe sound is amazingly good on this 1976 film.I'm not sure of the significance of the massacre of the card players by gangsters at the beginning. Maybe to get our attention? Apart from this strange part, the film gives an intimate glimpse into the private family lives of three of the members at their country estates. It is interesting that they get their tour dates- only one day ahead- by telegraph; delivered by a courier on a bicycle. The film moves quickly to their first gig at New Yorks' Madison Square Gardens. A look at the mesmerized fans in the audience bears witness to their considerable talent. This is the only band I know that jams on the spot with the members just nodding to each other. They create a vast variety of texture and tones with John Paul Jones doubling on several keyboards as well as bass. Worth having in ones' video library..Score: 5/5
