Verona and Burt have moved to Colorado to be close to Burt's parents but, with Veronica expecting their first child, Burt's parents decide to move to Belgium, now leaving them in a place they hate and without a support structure in place. They set off on a whirlwind tour of of disparate locations where they have friends or relatives, sampling not only different cities and climates but also different families. Along the way they realize that the journey is less about discovering where they want to live and more about figuring out what type of parents they want to be.

MAYA RUDOLPHMaya Rudolph is the sole reason to watch this insufferable big screen sit com. She is so sweet and honest in comparison to the cast of cliche characters around her. I like John Kasinski on The Office but his character is thn and one dimensional. The worst is Maggie Gyllenhaal who is some sort of Earth Mother from Hell who has a pychotic episode of a stroller. I hope that Maya Rudoph is given better films to appear in. I think she can be a potentially strong actress if given the right role and film. Perhaps husband P.T. Anderson should try employing her in his own films to showcase he talents beyond her comedic skills..Score: 2/5

Fitting story for 30-somethings who get how scary it is to make adult decisionsMy husband and I watched Away We Go, and in some ways we can relate to the couple in this story. We are DINKS (Dual Income No Kids), in our early 30s, and understand that for our generation it is intimidating to start a family, when we're all still growing up. This is about transitions and the people the couple visits are vignettes on all extremes that can make the situation of parenthood even more intimidating. But the story really points to the realities of adulthood...you cannot predict the outcomes, you can only go with what life hands you. For all the naysayers about this movie....it is likely you can't relate or you haven't arrived at this point in life..Score: 5/5
OverratedDave Eggers, the writer of this item, trades on a vaguely overwrought, slightly depressing sense of befuddlement, disguised as hip cleverness. I think he must have a really good agent. The trailer is better than the film, and is much less of a waste of time..Score: 2/5
Comedy? Huh.I really like everyone in this movie, but I didn't laugh once. Very slow and kind of boring. The music is dull and uninspired. I blame the director for the slow pace of the movie-the acting is quite good and it's shot fairly nice. It just didn't shine. Would never consider watching it twice. Again, with this great lineup, it should have been a little more amusing. I give it a C-..Score: 2/5
