Great Movie!!Most people would dislike it mainly because it does not follow the contemporary style of Robin Hood movies. It rather takes on a historical side. Prince John at the end burns what will be known as the Magna Carta. I agree that this movie is based on how "rabble rousers" change the face of human rights in world as they knew it. I highly recommend this movie..Score: 5/5

Excellent MomentGreat film. if you appreciate great moving moments, you'll enjoy it every step of the way. If you are excepting Ridley to tell the same story you've seen 50 million times then you'll be very let down. Sadly Hans Zimmer did not do the score. :(.Score: 5/5

Robin HoodI've seen all the Robin Hood releases dating back to Errol Flynn and this is the BEST! Crowe is Crowe but brings the Hood character forward dimensionally to match the action symbolic in all versions. I thoroughly enjoyed it..Score: 5/5
A Fresh & Brave Take on the Robin Hood LegendAt first glance, this movie may not have all the appealing qualities of what makes a tradiional Robin Hood movie. This will of course either bring your spirits down, or in my case, raise a brow. Ridley Scott is an intelligent director. But he is also a misunderstood one too. His movies only seem to shimmer years after they have been released. Robin Hood is no conventional Robin Hood movie. It so much more. There is an actual story here of a man who becomes a legend. And all because of his common sense view of the world in a chaotic time. There is also a much more authentic feel to the story at hand. The visual effects are enough to make you forget Kevin Costner ever shot that arrow in Prince of Thieves and it is a solidly made motion picture. I have seen this 3 times already, and everytime i watch it, i nderstand it more and enjoy it more. Any movie that can do that for me deserves my two thumbs up..Score: 5/5

I was so excited to see this movie....This movie should have been better, but it just never seemed to get going. 90% of the movie was watching people ride around on horse not really doing anything. I enjoyed it, but it will never be in my 10 list.....Score: 2/5
Help, I've been robbed.I wanted this movie to be as good or better than the myriad of Robin Hoods that came before it. Sadly, I was disappointed. It fumbles from the start and never really becomes a meaningful flick. While the images are generally up to Mr. Ridley's high standards, the dialogue is stilted, sometimes even silly, character development is woefully lacking and the plot as thin as the film it finds its way on to. It's very hard to watch notable actors portraying legendary roles with so little to work with. There is one consolation. We can be sure another Robin Hood will come along one day. And unlike this version, perhaps I won't feel like I have been robbed of a potentially great viewing experience..Score: 2/5

Surprised at how good it was.It's not the greatest movie ever, but I definitely enjoyed myself. Good brainless action flick with solid cinematography. I'm surprised at some people's reactions. Like that wasn't exactly what they were expecting. Watch the trailer. That's the kind of movie you're in for. If you can just enjoy these films, you'll be in for a good time. Films students are like music critics: they enjoy very little. Must be sad..Score: 4/5
