The creators of "Enter the Dragon" reunite for another action-packed adventure, this one about the Mafia getting more than it bargained for when it attempts to muscle in on a karate school run by a martial arts master.
Jones is a secret agent who has gone into semi-retirement, concentrating instead on teaching the martial arts to inner city youths. The karate school is run by a kindly old coot named Pops ,played by Scatman Crothers. His gambling debts, however, bring the local thug, Pinky, down on him. To make matters worse, Pinky is then hired by some white thugs who want to get a hold of the property Pops' school occupies so they can build a shopping mall. When things get heavy, Black Belt Jones leaps into action. Only he's not alone. Pops' daughter, Sidney, shows up to lend a hand, proving herself every bit as agile and powerful a martial artist as Jones.

Great movie for its timeThis movie was pure fun and action. Jim Kelly may not have been the greatest actor but you could tell he loved martial arts and that he was Black and he was proud of it. This movie epitomizes all of that. RIP to a Martial Artist for the ages..Score: 3/5

The Black Superman of the martial artsJim Kelly was a pioneer becoming the first "African American" aka Black martial artist to star in a Hollywood movie. After the sudden passing of Bruce Lee Hollywood rushed to find a replacement & they decided it to be Kelly because of his strong screen presence in Enter The Dragon. This movie decided to jump on the so called "Blaxpoitation" bandwagon. Bottom line the movie showcases Kelly's karate skill & has some funny support characters in it , It is truly an Action Comedy , The sequel to this "Hot Potatoe" wasn't very good because they stuck Kelly with a corny cast around him. Hollywood in typical fashion never pushed Kelly to be a star but they pushed Chuck Norris,Steven Seagal, Van Damme, forcing him to make movies with smaller budgets in the US & Hong Kong. As for the review below Kelly was never trying to be Bruce Lee... All karate practitioners make a keee yaaa! or oi yeee! yell when they strike not just Bruce Lee! RIP to the last true black action hero "James Milton Kelly" gone but will live forever in your films..Score: 4/5
Black Belt JonesWell first thing I gotta say is this is the worst Enter The Dragon B. Movie rip off I have ever seen! I can't believe that Kelly Jones would have gone along with the script? let alone star in it. Using Bruce Lee's style and his little sounds he would make when he fought. As far as I'm concerned Mr.Kelly should have left his name & his honer in Enter The Dragon where he should have stayed. Anyway that's my opinion, So you decide.. :-/.Score: 1/5
