Starts getting sillyThis movie is more cheesy, than scary. I thought this was ok. Acouple parts were funny and tried to gross you out, but it's not scary at all compared to 1,2, and 3. I don't judge, these are old, but this one wasn't the best. Be warned, there are a couple very lame parts in this movie, I just had to laugh. hahahaha.THE HXC LIFEScore: 2/5

Freddy returns for the forth time! by typopThis was a good film. The best death scene was Joey on the waterbed. How Freddy came up from the waterbed and killed him. Alice is an awesome dreammaster. Depends On What YouOne of my favorite films for the sake of simple entertainment value.
With decent character arch-types and a nice development in the mythology of the story- as well as abilities of some of the children in the Elm universe, we have a fresh new batch of spooky horror. Played greatly for laughs, the horror elements really just depend on how far you are able to put yourself into the situation where what happens on screen happens to you. I thought several of the death scenes were horrifying, although some of them quite tame.
Works wonderfully as a mindless adventure film, but maybe not as greatly as a true horror.
Still definatly worth watching, especially if you're looking for a good 1980's MTV generation film..LaComplexFanScore: 5/5
