When second-graders Bryce and Juli first meet, Juli knows it's love. Bryce isn't so sure. Beginning that day, and for the next six years, young Bryce (Callan McAuliffe) does everything he can to keep his outspoken wannabe girlfriend at arm's length...which isn't easy since they go to the same school and live across the street from each other. Smart, dreamy, independent and willing to stand up for what she believes in, Juli (Madeline Carroll) is different from anyone else he knows and, frankly, it's a little overwhelming. Though disappointed by Bryce's unwillingness to see things her way, or even to see the things in life she finds most meaningful, Juli continues to give her potential dreamboat the benefit of the doubt. Until those doubts stack up so high that she finally thinks maybe she was wrong about him. It's just about the same time Bryce starts to think maybe he was wrong about her, too. But is he too late?
When Juli meets Bryce in the second grade, she knows it's true love. After spending six years trying to convince Bryce the same, she's ready to give up - until he starts to reconsider.

BEST MOVIE EVERI’ve seen this movie half a dozen times and i’m absolutely in love. bryce loski is so charming and so cute and his chemistry with juli baker is just so real. they have a connection both on and off camera. i love how the movie shows two different perspectives on things and how you can see each persons though process. it’s an outstanding movie. it really blew me away. it shows that love isn’t about kissing or having sex, it’s about having this undeniable connection with someone..Score: 5/5

Probably the Best of the BestI have not seen a movie like this in a long time. This movie may not have been keep you on the edge of your seat but it had heart. It was so sweet, I cried and left and I actually felt a connection to this film and its characters. After I left the theatre from seeing this movie, I was headed to a double flick and I thought, is there any point, will it ever compare to this? It didn't.
