Experience the event of a lifetime with this spectacular 25th anniversary celebration of one of the most popular musicals ever written, Les Misérables. Honoring 25 years of this incredible show, this momentous film captures the excitement of two magnificent sold-out performances that were watched live around the world. With a phenomenal all-star cast, including pop star Nick Jonas (Jonas Brothers), Tony® Award winner Lea Salonga (the voice of Disney’s Mulan and Princess Jasmine), and over 500 additional artists and musicians, revel in the songs of the unforgettable characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution.
This concert, recorded to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the landmark musical Les Miserables, gathers the casts of the show's 2010 original production at the Queen's Theatre, the 1985 original production by the London company, and the 2010 production at the Barbican together for one performance. Together with talents like Michael Ball, Hadley Fraser, and John Owen-Jones, the performers present the play's musical numbers in a semi-theatrical style, fully costumed and with all the emotion of the musical's heyday.

GreatThis was the first version of les miś I had seen and refuse to watch the movie because I WILL be disappointed as I was with PotO movie but can we just get to swooning over Ramin Karimloo and there are reviewers who are dissing Nick Jonas who did his best considering he is really not a stage voice Thanks for reading.Score: 5/5

Loved this VersionLes Mis has really changed my life. The first time I saw Les Mis was through the movie and I absolutely loved it so much. This concert is a must see for those who love the show! I would recommend seeing the show before you see this. This was an absolutely amazing cast. The standouts are Alfie Boe as Valjean and Samantha Barks as Eponine. I knew that I would love Samantha Barks in this because she was one of my main standouts from the movie. I started to fall in love with Alfie Boe at “What Have I Done” and I fell in love with Samantha right when I saw her. It was amazing to see how different she portrayed her character in the concert compared to the movie. It was Samantha Barks that drew me to wanting to see this and I found out about this concert after I read a movie review saying that Sam also played Eponine in the 25th anniversary concert. Next to the standouts, my next favorites were Ramin Karimloo and Lea Salonga. Ramin has a wonderful powerhouse voice, which fits Enjorlas. I cried at Lea’s version of Fantine. I absolutely loved the big finale in so many ways. I enjoyed seeing the “Bring Him Home” Quartet, but I also really loved it when Alfie Boe sang it earlier. I enjoyed seeing the original company from when Les Mis first opened. I am so glad Les Mis touched me so deeply. It is very powerful and takes you through a roller coaster of emotions in one night. I never would have expected a tragedy to take you through all of those emotions and have so much power. Les Mis is one of my top three favorite musicals of all time..Score: 5/5

BrilliantThis is a phenomenal tribute to the brilliance of Les Miserables! A mixture of concert and staging blend to showcase the music and the story. Alfie Boa as "Jean Valjean" is mesmerizing. Gives me chills every time! Norm Lewis as "Javert" commands attention through his stunning vocal ability and acting nuances. The two are perfectly cast. Matching each other in skill and stage presence. Lea Salonga as "Fantine" continues to prove why her talent makes her such a powerhouse. Her mixture of raw emotion and vocal strength reminds me why she's my all-time favorite musical theatre actress. The pleasant surprises were two of the supporting players; Ramin Karimloo as "Enjolras" and Samantha Barks as "Eponine". Two of my favorite characters portrayed by performers who balanced the emotional upheaval with great vocal range. I highly recommend the Live at the O2 concert. As a lifelong Les Mis fan I was wholly impressed..Score: 5/5
Great...exept for Nick JonasThe vocal talen for this concert rendition was almost as good as the 10th Anniversary cast, except for the baffling addition of Nick Jonas. He is utterly outclassed in vocal range and projection by even minor characters. His notes are thin and he clips them all so short I kept wondering if he was afraid his voice would break..Score: 4/5

Good overallIt's great! I loved Alfie Boe as Valjean. However, Nick Jonas was a poor casting choice for Marius. Compared to the stellar cast, his voice seemed weak and lacked passion. I really enjoyed hearing Michael Ball reprised the role of Marius and Colm Wilkinson as Valjean during the encore performance..Score: 4/5

Tenth anniversary still betterEven though technically superior in every way this anniversary cast version is not the "Dream Cast" that rocked Royal Albert Hall at ten years. Colm Wilkinson will always be the quintessential Jean Valjean and Philip Quast the iconic Insp. Javert..Score: 3/5
Still amazing.Amazing cast, amazing result. The passion with which the artists played their roles made the whole difference. Alfie Boe with the lead, Samantha Barks as Eponine, which I consider to be one of the characters that really get people to relate to it, and even Nick Jonas as Marius, who, in my opinion, did a great job, despite his popularity in the "pop" side of the industry and his very young age. It's worth remembering that if he was absolutely talentless, he wouldn't even be sharing the stage with such names and talented artists, so the ignorant hatred towards the boy is rather uncalled for. Overall, the whole thing is great and definitely worth watching and buying. A classic..Score: 5/5
Great :)This was a pretty good concert. The cast was amazing!! Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean ... I'm at a loss for words. His performance was just spectacular. Nick Jonas wasn't too bad as Marius, he was a tad nasily, he didn't have the strength that some of the other actors did, but he still did a great job. My favourite actor from this concert was Ramin Karimloo, his voice is amazing!! For anyone who wants to listen to the Les Mis soundtrack for the first time, watch this concert instead. It shows you the emotions which the characters are supposed have without being the actual play. The encore performance with Colm Wilkinson, Michael Ball and the rest of the original cast is worth the wait of the entire concert..Score: 5/5
