Experience the event of a lifetime with this spectacular 25th anniversary celebration of one of the most popular musicals ever written, Les Misérables. Honoring 25 years of this incredible show, this momentous film captures the excitement of two magnificent sold-out performances that were watched live around the world. With a phenomenal all-star cast, including pop star Nick Jonas (Jonas Brothers), Tony® Award winner Lea Salonga (the voice of Disney’s Mulan and Princess Jasmine), and over 500 additional artists and musicians, revel in the songs of the unforgettable characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution.
This concert, recorded to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the landmark musical Les Miserables, gathers the casts of the show's 2010 original production at the Queen's Theatre, the 1985 original production by the London company, and the 2010 production at the Barbican together for one performance. Together with talents like Michael Ball, Hadley Fraser, and John Owen-Jones, the performers present the play's musical numbers in a semi-theatrical style, fully costumed and with all the emotion of the musical's heyday.

Phenomenal doesn't even begin...Les Miserables is, has, and always will be my all time favorite musical. I can't put it all in words without it sounding so "wordy" much like in the novel of the same name by the great Victor Hugo, who was famously known to do just that. Mr. Hugo himself was a Patriot in his own way that reflected on the what he felt was right in his home country of France. He also believed that music has a power for human emotion and actions while he listened to his favorite composers during the time. So it goes to say that I believe that Mr Hugo would be proud. The cast was wonderful with powerful voices that reached your soul. My only question was Nick Jonas as Marius. He's a talented singer, but his type of talent didn't fit well with the rest of the cast. But I felt Jonas gave his all, so I can't blame him on that alone. For those who haven't seen this yet...it's beautiful, powerful and even spiritual. You won't be disappointed! ❤️.Score: 5/5
👍👍I found this to be absolutely AMAZING, I give it 👍👍 two thumbs up..and I was actually surprised at how well Nick Jonas did (shocking) & Samantha barks I just fell in love with her voice and the character Eponine ❤ Oh and every time Ramin sang he gave me chills.......this is definitely something I can listen/watch over and over again, loved it.!!!!.Score: 5/5

BrilliantThis is a phenomenal tribute to the brilliance of Les Miserables! A mixture of concert and staging blend to showcase the music and the story. Alfie Boa as "Jean Valjean" is mesmerizing. Gives me chills every time! Norm Lewis as "Javert" commands attention through his stunning vocal ability and acting nuances. The two are perfectly cast. Matching each other in skill and stage presence. Lea Salonga as "Fantine" continues to prove why her talent makes her such a powerhouse. Her mixture of raw emotion and vocal strength reminds me why she's my all-time favorite musical theatre actress. The pleasant surprises were two of the supporting players; Ramin Karimloo as "Enjolras" and Samantha Barks as "Eponine". Two of my favorite characters portrayed by performers who balanced the emotional upheaval with great vocal range. I highly recommend the Live at the O2 concert. As a lifelong Les Mis fan I was wholly impressed..Score: 5/5

EponineI gotta say, after I saw this I felt the same way after I saw the 2012 film adaption. I was filled with awe, a shattered heart, and eyes that were streaming with tears. I was especially blown away by Sam's performance of Eponine. Don't get me the wrong the other actors and actresses did a fantastic job. I just felt a better connection with her character and the way she protrayed Eponine was dead on. I honestly can't think of anyone else portraying Eponine..Score: 5/5

Great :)This was a pretty good concert. The cast was amazing!! Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean ... I'm at a loss for words. His performance was just spectacular. Nick Jonas wasn't too bad as Marius, he was a tad nasily, he didn't have the strength that some of the other actors did, but he still did a great job. My favourite actor from this concert was Ramin Karimloo, his voice is amazing!! For anyone who wants to listen to the Les Mis soundtrack for the first time, watch this concert instead. It shows you the emotions which the characters are supposed have without being the actual play. The encore performance with Colm Wilkinson, Michael Ball and the rest of the original cast is worth the wait of the entire concert..Score: 5/5

Les MiserablesI have never in my life heard anything better than this. I'm hooked! The only person who was badly cast, was Nick Jonas. His voice has no strength and he sings through his nose. Apart from that it's incredible..Score: 5/5

Great cast except for Nick JonasSaw the concert with Leah Salonga playing as Eponine. She did an excellent job then and now as Fantine. Horrible performance by Nick Jonas. He looked and consistently sounded as if he always wanted to go to the bathroom..Score: 4/5
Still amazing.Amazing cast, amazing result. The passion with which the artists played their roles made the whole difference. Alfie Boe with the lead, Samantha Barks as Eponine, which I consider to be one of the characters that really get people to relate to it, and even Nick Jonas as Marius, who, in my opinion, did a great job, despite his popularity in the "pop" side of the industry and his very young age. It's worth remembering that if he was absolutely talentless, he wouldn't even be sharing the stage with such names and talented artists, so the ignorant hatred towards the boy is rather uncalled for. Overall, the whole thing is great and definitely worth watching and buying. A classic..Score: 5/5
