Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the Horcruxes--the keys to Voldemort's immortality. On their own, without the guidance or protection of their professors, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart. Meanwhile, the Wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. Ok, but not very well doneThis was an ok movie, for a Harry Potter movie. The action (aside from being unnecessarily dark) was ok, and the characters were well done. But I felt like this movie was just there to set up Part 2. I'm not saying that you shouldn't watch this- if ur a Harry Potter fan and-or plan to see part 2, you should definitely see this. Tedious and moroseThere is a serious problem with sluggish dialogue and transitions in this film. Not only is it too long, but most of the excessive length consists of dim, lingering shots of not much, and painfully awkward pauses between lines of wooden dialogue. We are given enough time to think for quite some time about what characters have said. Time and again, replies seemed so slow that I wondered if I’d accidentally hit pause. Nor was the wait worthwhile: the replies rarely added much.
It is also relentlessly morose — not “dark” or even “bleak,” just depressing — which one might forgive if the shreds of comic relief weren’t so trite and half-hearted..BigcloitsScore: 1/5

Must see movie!Wow! I have to say this movie did not fail to disappoint me! :D Ahh i remember being 7 years old seeing the first harry potter movie in theatres. And now its all coming to an end :'( Btw I saw part 2 of deathly hallows last week and it was AMAZING!!! :D Those who may have not read the books may not understand quite what is going, but that gives them no right to say the movie is 'too slow and boring' or 'too confusing'. If you're not going to take the time to pay attention to this awesome movie, I don't see why you waste your time telling the world how much you dislike it.
