Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite as sci-fi geeks taking a pilgrimage to Americaโs UFO heartland. One of the funniest movies of 2011!!This movie was hilarious had me laughing from beginning to end great movie don't listen to all the ppl complaining about the swearing/sex/drug use obviously with seth rogen in this movie who has played a stoner in jus about every single movie he has been in and i love he is one of my fav actors you should know that it is gonna contain these kinds of things there is religon bashing but who cares? its a movie about an alien that was not created in gods image showing he is not real which is funny when the crazy kooky religous family finds him and passes out hah some religion is ok but the religious ppl that this movie is portraying are the religous ppl that just take it way too far soo to me who dosen't believe in god but in science and facts it was funny so i say screw all the ppl complaing that this movie is vulgar an watever the future is now! For once something newGlad to see a film maker take on the crazy crowds (religion & UFO conspiracy) maybe more people should realize that a life form like Paul is much more likely that a magic sky daddy that may grant you a wish, more likely it will fall on deaf imaginary ears. Amazing brit comedyPlease don't watch this if you don't get british humour. If you do however, it's a hilarious movie. There's a lot of swearing but that's to be expected with a british comedy. Overall it's a great movie and not to be taken seriously..Score: 5/5

Waste of Money - poorly doneSaw the movie expecting it to be fun. It quickly turned into a movie that did little more than slam the Christian Religion. If you have a problem with Christians, fine, but I go to a movie expecting to be entertained not to see someone making fun of someone elseโs religion no matter what it is. A complete waste of money and two hoursI really enjoyed both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead and had high hopes for Paul. Sadly this movie isn't even close to the earlier titles. There were very few truly funny scenes. Frequent use of foul language in an unsuccessful attempt at humour. The majority of the humour was of the 12 year old potty joke calibre..Score: 1/5
Brit humour. Gotta love itThis movie is great! However, it's british humour, so if you don't get that, you won't "get" the subtle wit of this movie. If you're an american, chances are you won't understand the humour anyway. It pays tribute to all the great alien encounter movies made by hollywood, in a playful manner. The ending is sweet Actually, I love the jabs at the american rednecks and the religious nutjobs! They're just rich. Anyway, as someone who DOES get the british humour this movie is fabulous. The only thing I didn't think worked was the christian girl learning to swear etc. It missed the mark and it made her rather annoying. The british use colourful language in adult comedies so just put your big kid pants on and stop the whining about the swearing. It's not a movie for children but it is a great flick!.Score: 5/5
