StupidYou idiots know why critics gave this movie bad reviews? Because it is watching your friend play a video game. A good video game, but still a video game. The movie's plot makes no sense, the acting is GODAWFUL, Zack Snyder really needs to learn how to direct a movie, and the film is just stupid. it would only work as a video game, not a movie. Not a huge fan of the added bonusIt's the same price, but i prefer the other. i guess it depends on what type of viewer you are. the extended has an theatrical number which i am not a big fan of and i understand why they cut a few things. they extend their conversations sometimes and one time when blue talks to baby doll he says too much. otherwise this movie is my favorite of the year and one of my favorites (at least top 50) of all time..Score: 5/5

Great show crappy criticsThis was a breath of fresh air from all the generic Hollywood sameness-or-whatever that they've been making a lot of lately. It seems even the critics don't like something unless its been done at least a hundred times before. And what's with the sexism complaints? So the main characters end up in epic battles whenever Baby Doll starts dancing. I thought that was a lot less sexualizing then watching her dance erotically for ten minutes. I thought the whole thing was rather cleverly done, dealing with a serious and probably awkward issue without ever depicting it physically, still leaving a sense of dread without bringing any awkwardness into the show. And if you think scantily clad women are unfeminist, then you'd better get all the women at your local swiming pool to "properly" clothe themselves before you tackle this show. You'll be suprised how fast telling women to "put some clothes on" can be interpreted as a sexist suggestion--assuming it was a suggestion and not a command. (I don't hear any complaints about wonder woman.) Besides, why do people always insist women be so clothed while everyone seems to enjoy depictions of the "real man" half naked and bulging with muscles? Why don't I ever hear complaints about that being sexist? But if, like the critics, you won't be able to get your mind past a little skin, you'll miss the whole point of the show, and you might as well just move on to something more predictable, where women are even less clothed but for less important reasons--Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, and almost any TV show out there these days, where sex seems to be the main atraction. This show at least, I thought, made a bold statement against something that is plain wrong on every level. Now, if that bothers you, then I suppose I can see why you would have problems with it. (I hope I'm mostly talking to the critics at this point.).Score: 5/5

AmazingI can understand why the critics didn’t like the original cut of the film, but this extended cut changes everything. All the extra scenes, plus the alternate ending, gave an entirely new meaning to this movie. It gave this film a far darker tone than the original, the ending was extremely emotional, and we learn a lot of new things, such as who the real main character is. All-in-all, this may well be one of my new favourite Zack Snyder films of all time. 5/5, 10/10, 100/100, 100%, two thumbs up, whatever you want..Score: 5/5

Really not that hard to understandYes, it does appear that critics didn't get this movie at all. If you saw Pan's Labyrinth and you got it, then you should get this movie. It is the same concept of disguising the horrors of reality with imagination. The storyline is also much more well-thought of than it first appears, but I won't expect a lot of people to get it the first time around. This is a movie worth watching two times or more. I dont get critics....I really loved the movie. its a visual chef d'oeuvre and i think the story line is amazing. not because its clear and well done, but because its unusual and it goes beyond conventions. the film is taking you in a strange and very unique atmosphere. i would not know how to explain....but still. great movie!.Score: 4/5
