When news of John Smith's death reaches America, Pocahontas is devastated. She sets off to London with John Rolfe, to meet with the King of England on a diplomatic mission: to create peace and respect between the two great lands. However, Governor Ratcliffe is still around; he wants to return to Jamestown and take over. He will stop at nothing to discredit the young princess.

The rage here is nonsensical.I think what people tend to overlook for this particular canon is that John Smith had already been declared dead for, what, a year? Two years? It’s not like she had evidence otherwise. How long is she expected to wait for his ‘miraculous return’? She did the most healthy thing a person can do: move on.
Something the diehard fans of the first movie need to consider.
While perhaps not my favorite of Disney sequels, it’s hardly the monstrosity that people claim it is. For a children's movie, it’s plenty fun and dramatic and I would recommend giving it a chance. If you’re unsure, rent it and see for yourself, but I certainly believe it’s not a bad movie to add to your collection..PlayTheGameWithBaconScore: 4/5
