Critics are worthless!!!Most paid movie critics are just that, PAID. So they speak only for the paying party never the consumer. Better than the second oneThough some the action scenes were sometimes ridiculous and the explosions become redundant, it was still entertaining to watch. Loved Sentinel Prime, Shockwave and Optimus. Podle Autobotů, kteří už dvakrát dokázali ochránit Pozemšťany před ničivou invazí jejich zlých konkurentů Deceptikonů, to ale byla zásadní chyba. Chyba, která by mohla zničit celou naši civilizaci, pokud nám Autoboti znovu nepomůžou. Havária je zaznamenaná i prístrojmi v NASA a prezident Kennedy nariaďuje misiu na Mesiac. A tak v roku 1969 posádka Apolla 11 pristane na Mesiaci, a keď sa skončí oficiálna časť prenosu, vydajú sa prehliadnuť havarovanú loď. To, čo objavia, si nechajú pre seba, resp. pre tajné služby. V súčasnosti Autoboti pomáhajú armáde Spojených štátov v oblasti prevencie konfliktov po celom svete a pátrajú po Deceptikonoch, ktorí sa ukrývajú na Zemi. Pri jednej z takých pátracích akcii v Černobyle zistia, že im ľudia zabudli povedať pár zásadných vecí, ktoré ich nakoniec dovedú späť na Mesiac k havarovanej lodi. Sam Witwicky, ktorý s mimozemskými Autobotmi pred niekoľkými rokmi zachránil planétu pre zradnými Deceptikonmi, je znovu vtiahnutý do boja dobrých a zlých transformerov.
