One of my favorite films of 2011Don;t let the thick accents keep you from watching one of the better films to come out of 2011. Everything is so well done, from the casting to the aliens themselves, that you will be hard-pressed to find another alien invasion film that even comes close to what this accomplished. FunnyOk, not bad and it was a surprise. I expected a corny movie but I tell you, the hit was definitely the creatures. Almost perfectThis movie channels aspects of Goonies, The Contiki Kids and Aliens and drops them all in the slum estates of London. I was entertained from start to finish and given the size of the tiny budget I'm blown away by how I was kept not just entertained, but on the edge of my seat. Attack the BlockTheres no connection to the characters. why would you root for villians who are kid thugs with no brains. so what if they get attacked by black blobs of fur? I wanted them all to die. the movie was so unrealistic and unbelievable. are we to believe in fourteen year old loser gang kids that can fight alien monsters? i hope there are not kids out there who actually act like those chumps. there probably are, and they are the ones who liked this atrocity. sure, its original, but who wants to see campy british scabs on society 'outwit' the police and become heroes. its utter rubbish and the accents and dialogue were so bad i had no clue what they were saying. leave this flick for 11 year old british skids who think they are so cool..RedBullCan29Score: 1/5
