Pure schmaltz, but I loved it!It's is one of the movies you see what is going to happen almost from the opening credits, and you willingly go along with a song in your heart. It is an unabashedly romantic movie where the love stories work out, the seemingly irreversible financial straights are resolved, and the seemingly un-breakable familial taboos are happily broken in the end. I cared about each character, and wanted everyone of their stories to work out. There was really only one unforeseen surprise, though in hindsight our currently diminishing, but still present homophobia explains the filmmaker's decision. And for all that the one homosexual moment was one of the most touching. I highly recommend this movie..IonwScore: 5/5
