Subtitles not on my copy.Of course Jaws is an amazing movie! However, I wanted to write this quick review for anyone who read other reviews about the movie having foreign subtitles. I bought this during the 'Blockbuster July' deal on iTunes (July 30, 2016). I wasn't able to sit down and watch the whole thing yet, but I did fast forward through to a couple of scenes where they were erecting signs or showing the reward signs and my copy had no foreign subtitles. It looks like this issue is no longer. So if you were thinking about buying it but were a little hesitant because of reviews complaining about the foreign subtitles... Excellent 4K work and movieWell that movie is a narration masterpiece and shows how to mainly generate a stressful atmosphere by suggesting more than showing. Now regarding the "showing" it has been time that a 4K version has been released and it's amazing. Besides two indoor shots that are a bit grainy, the picture quality is surprisingly crystal clear. They did a tremendous work remastering it and it comes as a plus, not as a gadget. All details, skin grain, fabric, sand is so real. Brilliant. ( I watched it on a 65" OLED TV in Dolby Vision).SjordiScore: 5/5

ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC MOVIES EVER MADE!!I first saw Jaws when I was 6 and it was the only movie that scared me so much that I turned it off. Fast forward 25 years later and it is still my all time favourite movie. This movie is truly a masterpiece and even after 38 years it still has NO equal and probably never will. Everything about this movie is top notch from the acting to the camera shots and of course the star of the movie, the mechanical shark itself. Its interesting that CGI did not exists back then and look at the results, case closed. Just a note to the viewers that this movie IS IN ENGLISH, but there are a few subtitles in French but they only pop up when you see words from signs in the movie and only last a couple of seconds. Movie is In EnglishJust rented this movie, which I've been waiting for itunes to add for a while now. I was nervous to purchase it since the trailer is in French so I decided to rent it first. The rental is most definitely in English, so I'm guessing it's the same when you purchase it. Watched this movie when I was eight years old and it's become a classic to me (although I refused to swim in open water for years after watching it) Great cast and more memorable than many of the shark movies I've seen to date..CphotographerScore: 4/5

Thank you Steven Spielberg for giving us this!Scared me badly as a kid, but now that I'm older, I realize now just how good it was. The soundtrack is fitted perfectly for every moment. Plus, the suspense... Amazing. Ok, this is NOT something you should let kids watch, but teens and adults would like it. However, don't get TOO nervous next time you go to the beach. Great movie - bad for sharksI was 5 when this came out and cried and stamped my feet because I couldn't see it in cinemas (It was rated 14+). When I finally did see it years later I was thrilled and scared witless but thoroughly enthralled by Spielberg's adaptation of Benchley's work. Truly a movie for the ages. The one part that makes me sad is just how idiotic people behaved towards sharks after the movie's release in 1975. I remember reading a story in the news paper of people in Florida stomping on hammerhead babies that had been inadvertently whelped when their mother had been hauled out of the ocean by a fisherman's boat. That's part of Jaws' legacy is its ability to play on our irrational, despicable side while entertaining us nonetheless..Jonesca1970Score: 5/5
