A trio of university parapsychologists lose their research grant and decide to open their own business, "Ghostbusters," and almost at once are summoned to investigate the strange happenings in a Central Park West apartment. What they discover is that all Manhattan is being besieged by other worldly demons.
When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

PLEASE MAKE A Traditional 3rd movie- Nov.26,2016I am a young fan of this series and I love all of the Characters, Venkman (even though he's kinda a creep.) My favorite character is however, sadly decased Harold Ramis (Egon).R.I.P Ramis. I love Ray's character who actually wrote the movie with Wrightman B.T.W. Also think Errnie Huddson's character is cool. The screen play and comedy is also outstanding for this time period (80's) and it is sad we dont have stuff like this any more.Now i am saying this message to Bill Murry,Sony and Writeman.Please if a (technically) Ghostbusters 4 is made in 2020 or sonner please Have the three main ghostbusters That are still alive. Dicth the Crappy Reboot you guys made and make a traditional sequal (passing the torch) it wasn't funny from the "doses" i got of it. heck even have Ramis's funeral and just say its Egons's. Dan ackroyd and Writeman if Bill refuses to do Let him have a chat with Harison Ford who was in STARWARS, or simply give him a lot of money and a director he likes, or just ditch him for crying out loud. Awesome!Just saw this in the theatre for the first time for it's 30th anniversary and it was awesome on the big screen. This is one of my favourite childhood movies but I was too young when this first came out so I didn't see until later. But I am a child of the 80's and I jumped at the chance to see this.
