Raven Shaddock and his gang of merciless biker friends kidnap rock singer Ellen Aim. Ellen's former lover, soldier-for-hire Tom Cody, happens to be passing through town on a visit. Admit It….There are a couple of reasons should love this film: 1. We were young when it came out and took our blood to rock and roll heaven. There was nothing like it before. We get it and are not afraid that admitting it implies being old. 2. Young people today who still love this film for basically the same reasons. Streets of FirePanned big time when it came out, Springsteen pulled his music and it flopped. The Blasters are better anyway. PG13 is pushed to the max in the dancer scene with them and yes a part of a nipple can be seen for a few frames, which should have killed the Pg13. All and all it is somehow great and leaves you with a strange feeling of loss, like waking from dream you don't want to end..Score: 5/5

A cult classic if there were one!Saw this on VHS, yup, that long ago. Bought it on disc. I would play this movie and not watch it,because of the music. The cast members were perfect and the part where Michael Pare slaps around the punk with the knife is a classic. Hell, I'm going the watch it now! One of my faves!.Score: 5/5
Comfort foodThis film feels like “comfort food”, it’s truly satisfying and feels homey. Don’t ask me why. It just does. Filmed in a dramatic noir style with a strange mix of past and present. The moody and sometimes too dark scenes add to a surreal experience. An amazing soundtrack drives the storyline and invites you tap your foot. It ends with an outstanding energetic concert scene that will give you goosebumps. It’s a film that I never grow tired of watching and one where many of us fell in love with the irresistible Diane Lane, here as a young beauty. Rent it and enjoy this timeless piece of rock and roll film art! It’s a wonderful journey..Score: 5/5
